Ascent connection issues (x2)

ok so im having 2 problems, first lemme tell ya what ive done so far, im currently running "Apple's Ascent 5.0 (wow v.2.4.3)" I registered a host name with no-ip, I went through the steps listed at http://www.mmowned.com/forums/ascent...ng-public.html with the changes to fit my build obviously.

so now my problem is that when I change my wow client (on the computer with the server) to my new registered domain, it connects but when I select my server and click connect it says "Logging in to Game Server" and then goes back to server selection. any ideas for getting past this?

the next issue is about other people connecting to my server, I have a laptop im looking to connect to my server for a friend of mine so he can play. when I change the realmlist to my new domain and try to log into my account (or his) it gives me the "Unable to connect" thing.

if anyone knows what to do on either of these I would greatly appriciate it

Edit: ok so I figured out that it will let me on the second realm the "local" realm but it wont let me into the public realm, also after I log out of the local realm and try to access the server list i get an error in my cmd window that says " N AuthSocket: Unknown cmd 80". I have to log out and back in to view the server list again. figured this might narrow down the problem a little. il get back to you guys if something further happens

hehe I forgot about port forwarding because last time I set up a server I didnt need it. If your having this issue just go ahead and hit DMZ mode and your good
