WOTLK 8820 Spell problems

Hello, I just recently got back into playing around with private servers. I got curious as to what a few new warlock spells look like and figured I would try out a WOTLK private server. I downloaded the multiple repacks and databases. But for some reason, spells like demon form just do not work. I also can not see my own buffs/debuffs.

I have also used different ad.exe files from each repack to re-extract the maps and dbc folders (i used the ones that came with each repack to go with the repack). My question is can anyone please link me to a stable repack and database where demon form will work and transform myself, and also allow me to create a deathknight. My main priority is the warlock spells working right, but the DK would be nice to fool around with.

EDIT: I also did multiple searches for "Spells not working" "spell errors" etc.., and could not find any threads that related to this problem. I appologize if I missed it some how.

I guess it's a bug in the core, after all, it's a beta. Things will change.

We should be happy to even be able to explore the world without the real beta.

O don't get me wrong, I am very happy to explore and what not. I got the death knight thing working. But thank you for your reply. I thought I was just doing something wrong and the spells just were messed up for me since i saw noone else mentioning the bug. Thank you though for your reply, much appreciated
