problem im having **pic included**

here is the pic of how my computer is set up and how i connect to teh internet



as you can see im wired to our wireless router with an ethernet cord


now the problem im having is when im trying to host a server from my computer i can do it with hamachi but i cannot use the non hamachi way from my computer and yes i know how to do it because i can get it to work from my parents computer

now ive herd that it may be a port forwarding problem but if thats true

A- which ports do i forward
B- would i forward them from my computer or my parents

i am using a netgear router btw

i hope the pic helps a little with my problem

To check what ports you are going to forward,
Simply check out the Server Guides section, there
are tons of guides there about that.

The ports you are going to open is gonna' be in your
router.

Yes , you need to open some ports and im not sure if its possible to host when you got internett thrugh another pc,, if you got a router try to first have you modem, then server pc , then router and connect all the pces to the router after that , then you just have to turn off the firewall and no port opening is requierd

Right but if you already forwarded the ports on the router ( you said you already set it up on other one) it shouldnt matter ports are already forwarded as thats done router side not Comp side.. Ya just need to edit your Firewalls open ports or disable it.

now what i have done was i did open all those ports and firewalls are turned off

If your connected through a LAN(router) to the internet you forward them on the ROUTER.. And if the firewalls turned off on YOUR computer you should be fine.. If not post the errors your having and it might be something else completely

portforwarding is comp specific cuz u have diff IPs on each comp, like my rooms comp is .109 at the end and my office one is .105, so i use 109 cuz i host with my room

Yeah but my point is if he already set ip up it would adready have the right ports forwarded hed just have to change which comp they were forwarded to
