Yeah, sorry about that. I always play and develop with the UI scale option set to its minimum, which scales down the entire UI by around 60% to give me more screen space, so I didn't notice how huge everything was when it's set to the default.

I might have to shrink everything anyway in SwiftGM to fit all the buttons I'm going to need.

Thanks for the comment Entice.

Work on Swift has pretty much been stopped for the past week or so and it will probably remain that way for about another week as I've been busy with three huge end-of-quarter assignments for school that all just so happen to be due the same week. I'll get back to work on the addon as soon as I can devote more time to coding and WoW.

Great work. Can't wait to see your future releases.
This could be a little better, but I'm sure it'll be great for those who need it.

Player Control Addon for GMs on ArcEmu Servers, by Twist3d.
Hey mmowned, this release is an addon I've been working on for my own server for the last couple of weeks, it went through a sort of closed beta where I had all of the GMs on my server using it...
SwiftDiscipline is an addon that attempts to make it easier for GMs on ArcEmu servers to, well, discipline...
This addon is designed to work with ArcEmu commands and system messages. It may not work with other emulators or newer revs of ArcEmu if commands or system messages (like pinfo output) are changed. Testing and development for this addon was done on ArcEmu r579, and support for the new command set introduced in ArcEmu r583 is also supported. It MIGHT work with Aspire or other Ascent based emulators but only if the commands and the system GM messages have not changed.
You know, I try to be polite even when people ask kinda dumb questions or do stupid stuff on forums, but your post just had so much fail in it that I couldn't help myself. Congratulations on losing the game!

By the way, I hope you weren't too disappointed after creating an account and waiting through the activation period just to see this addon's download link only to discover that yes, it indeed is only for private servers.

I'm going to take a wild, wild guess and say you are completely new to the WoW hacking scene in general, perhaps even the whole video-game cheating thing. Let me tell you right now that there are no ZOMFGSUPAHAX available for retail WoW that let you do crazy shit like ban other players, revive yourself, teleport anywhere, kick other players, and send fancy global announcements to everyone currently online. They don't exist, they never will exist. You've got to do some work. Sorry if I crushed your dreams.

---

On a lighter note, I've made some progress on SwiftGM (oh and hey Iron, whats up?) both codewise and planning-wise. One feature I'm really excited about for SwiftGameobject (let me just say, SwiftGO will easily be the coolest module, the other modules will just be what you'd expect) is the ability to save groups of gameobjects as "structures". What does this mean? Basically, you put SwiftGameobject into "Recording" mode, where it will start saving the position of every object you spawn relative to the first object. So while in this mode you build a house or some other cool thing out of like 500 crates. Then, you turn off Recording mode and SwiftGM will save your creation as a structure. You can then spawn this structure (meaning the entire house) anywhere else you want! You'll also be able to share your structures with other GMs who have SwiftGM.

There will also be a sort of navigational pad thing that lets you line up your objects exactly so everything looks nice and neat. For example, if you're building a wall out of crates, you can spawn the crate, hit the North button (which will teleport you X units north), spawn another crate, rinse and repeat. You won't have to actually move your character with the mouse or arrow keys. It will let you move in any direction (N, S, E, W, Up, or Down) and you can "Bookmark" your location on a specific axis (X, Y, Z) to ensure that things are lined up straight. I know it may sound confusing as hell, but one of the challenges when designing the addon is making the UI as intuitive as possible so you're never thinking "how the fuck do I use this thing??", and I'm pretty good at it. I'm planning everything out on paper first, going through multiple iterations to find what works best before I actually start laying down any XML code.

Pretty excited about this, though like I said it's a huge project and I've really busy IRL so progress may be slow for the next couple of weeks or so.

Thanks for the comments everyone (excluding spunky).

When you realse SwiftGM, it will be the best GM addon every for ascent based servers.

You should also make so you can 'customize' your command, so it doesn't matter if you got Ascent, Aspire or Arcemu, as they all got a few commands different.

Yeah I've got that covered as well. The initial release probably won't contain an in-game command editor or "customizer" but you can open up the CommandSet.lua file and easily change the commands to work with your emulator (its as easy as changing learn = "learn", unlearn = "unlearn", to learn = "character learn", unlearn = "character unlearn", etc.). After I've got the whole addon done I'll throw in the in-game command editor.
Also, right before the initial release when the addon is mostly done I'm going to download some repacks and create a commandset for all three emulators and I'll try to get differences between revisions (though with ArcEmu this is kinda annoying, since they change so damn often).

Anyway thanks for the comment, hopefully I'll have some more screenshots to post soon.

This sounds to be a good addon. Good work on the discipline addon, I hope to use your planned release soon.

I haven't been able to get any more work done in a while unfortunately, I had to focus on school and after I dealt with that I picked up Tales of Vesperia and as a result my free time for the last five days has been spent sitting in front of my Xbox. In addition, I'd like to get my lock to 80, and I also am working on a rewrite of my retail addon, Paranoia, so SwiftGM will likely be pushed down to the bottom of my to-do list.

I'll be throwing up a SwiftGM googlecode repo soon so you guys can check out the latest code but there's not much working yet.
