How to make a ascent server easy +making it public!!!

I am trying it make a new server with the V4 repack, how do i keep navicat from messing with the v3 database? Every time a make a new connection it changes the v3 as well even though i make it a seporate connection in navicat and the DB file is in a diffrent folder. Sorry i am new to all this lol

Hi there, im just registered here and saw this guide, and i got a prob as well, i dont want to pay money for the Navicat, and the trial version stops me from using the "new database" features in your guide Hapkidomaster. Pls hlp, u get +Rep if u fix it . Cheers Jokk

Ok i have had loads of probs with this server when we do pvp the server crash every time same as sum GM commands the admin trie 7 vendor dont work mounts should work all the time not when ever the server feels like it most things you do makes the server crash not very happey with the outcome of this server

i've ben having some hardcore issues with hamachi, ppl can never connect to my server and i can never connect to other ppl's servers. wth is going on? WTB help!

ok admin t7 doesn't work do .lookupitem admin for the admin items and if navicat trail is blockling u go to the navicat site and download navicat lite. it may be ur firewall that people cannot connect to u does that awnser everything?

Hey, i just got one more prob :P

When my friends try to join from their own computers, the get stuck a while to "Logging in to game server" and then the server throws them back to the realmlist... Iv tried everything, we got all damn ports opened from the firewall, but still, nothing.... Any ideas?

When i open ascent-logonserver.conf, it wont let me type or delete any of the text. HELP

I'm having an issue with flying mounts, and some regular mounts. When you use a flying mount you can fly around as though you where mounted but you can't see the mount and it looks like my toon is superman or something. Any advice??

i have everything up and running correctly and i have created a GM account
only problem is when i log on and go to the realm list, there is no realm for me to connect to

I got an issue When i start Both logon and world after a while it stands like this:
Server has crashed. Reason was:
an Access violation at 0x0066C7A1

Yes i got same problem cant see my mounts but even worse i dont get the speed.Or the FLYING mount speed works

Okay first GREAT guide!
all works except off when i log in :/
i use the cmd-Createaccount Test Test *email* 8 and i can log in 1 time and create character but when i press enter world it says - Dissconnected from server.. :yuck:

Or it just says *Connected* ..:/

i need help with this so badly

Ok .. i got that to work..but now its just keep loading when i press enter world..and at the end it just stays there..
