[Guide] Make a zone a sanctuary

For those still lost... or can't get the zones to change...
Before even attempting this... make sure you have updated maps inserted into your server folders. I'm sure you all know about the good ol' map extractor

Without it all zones will default to PvE where no PvP can be active unless you were to flag yourself.

And if you're trying to change the Gurubashi Arena... the actual pit you fight in is called Battle Ring (id 2177 I believe).


I hoped this helped all those who still didn't have this wonderful guide work for them.

Well..actually i got both arena which are pvp zones and none of em work...Like the name of the map is red, its written pvp zone. But we cant hit each other and our name is blue, we arent in party or anything, wtf?

ok i have a twink realm and it is in the secret place in darkshore i have changed every single darkshore ID in your list to 19496 and it doesnt work do i have to delete my cache etc?

Delete your cache, and this guide is outdated... Just look for a place with the PvP Flag you want (for Sanctuary eg. Shattrath!) and use that flag!

This was a lot of fun for my server, it helped me back to back a sanctuary, a faction pvp zone, and a ffa zone, so it a large chaos zone. I love you, thank you for this.
