if i am not mistaken once completing you instructions
i have to run the logonserver.exe. which does its thing and works perfectly.
then i have to run ascent.exe ?
if so i get an error

could i have done something incorrectly in the sql database?
i am able to lonon to the wow server using the account created in the ascentlogon db but it doesnt suggest a realm once i have connected

Thanks! Worked great! I had to extrapolate a few steps you did not explain. I can see how others would mess them up.

Program cannot start because MSVCP71.dll does not exist. The problem can be solved by re-installing the program anew.

Is this because I don't have navicat lite? I at least downloaded the mysql 5.0 from ur link, i had 5.1 but then i got the same error and i still get this with 5.0.

If you need any more info and would like to help me, please reply.

I downloaded MSVCP71 and MSVCR71.dll and now i'm coming to the hooking part now, so most of these measure's have already been taken care of so I will just read previous post.

So if it says you don't have any of those .dll files, just google and download them.

I laso deleted my realmlist.wtf from my wow folder and I could still log into real wow o.::

So how can I change my server version to 2.3.3 (7799) ?

Put off the speedhack protection in your Ascent.conf file.

Make sure the realmlist is: 127.0.0.1
And make sure you saved it.

Unconfigure your previous configuration, then try again.

i used the repack, i did everything what you said in the guide, but when i double-click logonserver it says:
Connection failed. reason was 'acces denied for user 'username'@'localhost' <using password: YES>'
