I also seem to be unable to make an account. The info is there in Navicat but when i enter "reload" into logonserver, I get 0. I do not have realmserver.exe active atm. I cannot get it to word ><.

you need to SAVE the information and then RESTART all server

YOU DONT NEED TO RUN REALMS.EXE where in the whole guide you see that you need to execute it... let me answer NO WHERE cause you dont need realms.exe to be executed

thats because either you didnt configured correctly your config files or you didnt instal mysql correctly

ummmm i just get this error saying this:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). click on ok to terminate aplication

and thats what i get when try to open logonserver.exe

if that happens also with ascent you probably dont have .net framework 3.0 installed

I still can't get it to save an account. I have tried Ctrl+S to save, the little Check Mark near the bottom left corner as well. I think I need a step by step guide on how to make an account. Here is what I do, tell me what I do wrong:

Open Navicat
Connect to Database
Open ascentlogon
go into table
go into accounts
enter a username, password, az ... 8
press the Check mark to update
run Logonserver.exe
run Ascent.exe
enter 'reload' in logonserver.exe (shows 0 accounts).
Lauch WoW.exe
login
Get Invalid Info message

I boxed in an error I found. Where may this have occured? My download was complete and error-free. Creating Databases in Navicat didn't have any errors occur. Any idea how to fix this?

Edit: I tried making an account via Ascent.exe 'createaccount <username> <pass> <email> <flags>' it didn't work...

youre accounts table dont exist thats really weird though.... well try using this... copy and paste it in notepad and save it as a .sql file

I still get this error when trying to execute spdb.sql in Navicat, it will run for 3 seconds then show me this error:

I think I did it all right, but I got this error, I hope you can help me

When I boot the Logonserver, it goes to hooking, from there I boot Ascent and it says: "N Database: Connecting to MySQL on localhost with <username : *******> sql: Connection failed. Reason was `Action denied for user 'username'at'localhost' <using password: YES>`sql: Main database initialization failed. Exiting.
