Ascent 2.3.3+ Server Setup With Pics

If i download this server, can i still play WoW like regular servers with my own characters, or does downloading this thing mess it up?

Yes you can but i suggest you made 2 wow folders so u use one for the private servers and one for retail... it wont mess anything if you only have one wow... but you will need to constantly change realmlist

Spartan, I have made my server, i can logon on my account, but when I create a character it wont show on the characterlist... can u help me?

Ok so I got everything done last night and this morning when I went to start it up I couldnt find my SQL...so I did the normal thing and tried to redownload it and just start over...Now it wont execute. It keeps giving me an error 0.

you need to delete the MYSQL folder in your programs folder.... and that should do it

Whenever I try to execute spdb.sql in Navicat, it will run for 3 seconds then show me this error:

[Err] 1074 - Column length too big for column 'regex_ignore_if_matched' (max = 255); use BLOB or TEXT instead
[Msg] Finished - Unsuccessfully


I have tried this many times. Is there a solution for this? Thanks!

I did as you said, deleted the mysql from programs, and its still doing the same thing. /cry

Hmmm, still get the samme message like posted above with the RepackV3. I create a connection called Ascent, dabase called spdb, I execute character.sql, then execute spdb.sql. Not sure what to try next.
