How to Compile Ascent 2.3.2 with NCDB!!

I need some help lol. My authentication keeps failing and I cant figure out y.

as of what sliverdead said, change the following

<LogonServer RemotePassword = "change_me_logon">
to
<LogonServer RemotePassword = "ascent">
in logon.conf

and

<LogonServer DisablePings = "0"
RemotePassword = "change_me_logon">
to
<LogonServer DisablePings = "0"
RemotePassword = "ascent">
in ascent.conf

That'll fix it

where is the "Ascent Server" folder? Also, when I run the "Ascent.exe" program in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner.Owner\Desktop\Acent Compile\2_8_stable\bin\Ascent Server, it always crashes with that that "acent.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" Error Message.. PLEASE HELP! I have no idea what to do. Also, when I download the Map-Extractor and TBC downloads at the end of the guide, my computer says they are "Improperly Formatted" I really nee help.

Ive followed this guide and MANY others and i always come up with the same errors.

Error    2    general error c101008d: Failed to write the updated manifest to the resource of file "....binReleaseascent-world.exe". Access is denied.    mt.exe    ascent-world
