when i click launch server in control panel it gives me these two errors in two different windows:

Im not sure how to change level cap although im trying to find out because id like to do that with my server. but you start with GM Powers do .commands to see what commands you have

I have some kind of problem here. I followed all steps several times and allways get the same problem. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, but i'm able to connect to server, but when game tries to retrieve the realm list it appears a blank list, nothing, nada, res ( Can somebody tell me what i'm doing wrong? Because i don't get any wrong message when i try to mount the server :/ Thx in advance.

Hey there. First time poster.

I've had some trouble with this app - a problem that seems to be carrying over for every Private Server attempt. Maybe people here can help me address them. B)

Question 1: When I edit the realmlist, do I put simply 127.0.0.1, or add it to what was originally in there, or what? What should it read, exactly?

Question 2: Do I delete the old maps left in WoW when I move it to the Ascent Folder, or does it not matter.

Question 3: and Finally, the big one. When I hit "Launch Server", I recieve the following errors.

On the first pop-up window:
Can't start server: Bind on TCP/IP ports. Invalid Argument. Do you have another mySQL running on port: 3306?

I've had mySQL running before, but I just recently deleted it and removed it from my recycle bin. I have no idea where this confliction is coming from.

On the third and fourth:
"This Application Has Failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I've tried re-installing it twice, it doesn't fix it.

Delete everything, it should look like; "Set realmlist 127.0.0.1" thats it nothing else

I also had the same problem when clicking the launch button. I finally managed to get it working.

Make sure you extract the rar file to the C:\ drive and the name of the folder should be AC Web Ultimate Repack (make sure there is no underscoresbetween the words)

PS: After readingt he txt file for the 6th time I saw it.

For everyone having problems with the MySQL server starting, you more than likely already have an instance of SQL running. All you have to do is open Windows' Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+Delete or SHIFT+CTRL+Escape) and end the process called MySQL.exe. Now restart the server and you should have no conflicts.

I also had a problem with something called MSVCP71.DLL missing. A simple Google search for it found this file on a site called DLL-files.com that provided a free quick download. If you have this problem, copy the resulting DLL into the C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Ascent folder (or wherever you extracted the Repack to).

The realmlist should read set realmlist 127.0.0.1 or whatever your Hamachi IP address is. That's it. Nothing else. NO PUNCTUATION OTHER THAN THE PERIODS BETWEEN THE IP'S OCTETS.

On a final note, ENSURE that you have MS .NET Framework 2.0. A Google for ".Net 2.0" should automatically direct you to Microsoft's download page for it. It's free so you have no excuse. Install .NET, then run the server and you should be OK.
