I always seem to have a problem with MySQL First 3 dots check and when it gets to the 4th, Apply Security settings it w8s a couple mins and the program goes to (Not Responding)? Any Ideas?

You can allways re-install MySQL.. Go to Start\Control Panel\Add or remove program\ and then look for MySQL Server 5.1

Then you must have something else thats using the 3306 port.. or some other SQL database like, navicat, heidi..

Uhh yeah. I got everything, and i mean EVERYTHING working perfectly fine up until the very end.

I boot up Logonserver.exe and after a sec it gets stuck on

Connecting to MySQL server on 'localhost' with (root: xxxxxxxx)



and then it closes. When I try ascent after this, it gets all the way to connecting to localhost , and then it says unable to connect to localhost and shuts down as well. Dunno what i did wrong in localhost, need help. Thanks.

Check the password in the logonserver.exe in these lines:

Can't successfully bind to the ports upon using wither 0.0.0.0 OR my external IP...

lol, can some1 please help? This is frustrating me like never before.

0.0.0.0 isn't a real adress! you should use you external or localhost (127.0.0.1)

When i run loginserver it waits a few seconds and exits out, and ascent just crashes every time i use it, any help?

Can you tell me what happend in some more details?

this cant be ac-webs repack then as ac-web have built in mysql therefore you need to change the name of the post or something

It is the Ac Web, i downloaded it from AC Web but I didn't know that it was inbuilt mysql database!! So i made the tutorial based on how i put the server up! And for those who have the same complain! don't install the MySQL and SQLyog then!!

make a user on the website.
download the repack.
read the noob guide.
click start server.
login.
Gz you got a noob server

AND THIS IS NOT AC-WEB
they got apache and mysql installed in their repack.
