gr33noni, caboose, you can't configure a wow server to work as a public server on any computer, it needs to be configured for each computer, and I don't have the coding skills to make an autoconfigurator. It's best to just follow someone else guide who was more experience helping people take servers public.

maggers, it sounds like you're trying to connect to a different mysql server than the one included. Make sure all mysql services are stopped before trying to run the included server.

NVM, it was just the no-ip.com adress that had my old IP on it.

hi the servers is great but some itemes dont get delete they kep apearing in my bag even after i delet them what can i do about that

OK this is my second time trying this the first time i added items and =/ they both 1) didnt appear
2) made the newb items (start up grays / whites not appear)
3) and teh mall vendors didint work

Yeah i just reinstalled the server , im not adding custom items ever again XDDDDDDDDD screwd the server up so bad .....=/ that or i did something wrong with the data base its always that one internal error that screws up the world right ?

711, great guide. Love it, i had mangos private server before and worked fine and now im goign back to this since im really turned on to play WoW ^^, but is the classes bugged? Can you creep and kill monsters as usually?

As far as I know, everything works as well as any other home private server. Just about everything should work, with maybe a few glitches here and there. You'll really have to play the server for yourself to find out. (It's not like it takes very long; my pc was average 4 years ago, and even with the extracting it only took me 15 minutes from clicking "download" to running around in game)

711, while we at it. How do you maxskill your weapons? i tried maxskill and didnt work and i tried .learnsk and the sword id but i think the swod id is wrong, you know what to do?
