...just edit realms.conf. Replace all instances of 127.0.0.1 with your external ip, and forward the port on your router or firewall.

If this doesn't work it's because your ISP is blocking the service; you'll have to consult another guide for how to set up using hamachi or noip (ddinek can probably help you)

I'm working on finding a way to explain it more clearly now. But you should be aware, this is a noobpack. This isn't meant for you to start and run a 24/7 private server; this is for everyone who, like me, just wants to mess around for a few hours as a gm.

Hey man I need help I've been trying to make my own private server for 5 months now. This is probably the easiest guide I've seen. Mysql closes right away when I start it. I'm not running any other ones. I even checked on run and typed "msconfig" I tried this on both of my comps and even bought a new laptop still no private server luck. If you could help I would REALLY apreciate it. Do I need a certain comp? or what? please anyone help me? I did everything right.

I was just wondering, everytime i log out and back in my guy has his lvl 1 sword epuiped even when i delete it , is there a way to fix this and also how can i spawn teleports and create items,

and also how do i make it where when someone is in my party i can see them on my map, usually the person has to be in front of me to be on the map

popinthecan... did you follow the entire guide I linked to in the top post? If you didn't you should try, as well as with hamachi. If you did, I'm sorry, but I really don't know what else to tell you.

Muroga, if you're having trouble with your characters being save, simply run the command .save before logging out. As for creating teleports, see the commands list linked in the top post. For creating items, there's another guide in this forum... I'll ad a new question to the top post wioth a link. The rest of your questions, I'm sorry to say, are bugs with this the ascent emulator. Nothing we can do about those.

Maxused, please copy and paste the entire screen when you run start myswl console. You can d this by clicking the top left icon in the command propmt, going to "edit" and clicking "mark". Then highlight the entire text and press the icon again, go to "edit" and click "copy. Then paste the text here for me to read. Also, what operating system are you using? I'm not certain, but this emulator might not be compatible with certain OS's.

The wow directory is wherever you installed world of warcraft. For most users it's C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\
