every time I open my logonserver.exe it works for 1-3 secs and then closes :S

Oh nvm ,i got it working but now i have a new problem xD :S when i log into the world i dc in 5 seconds,i see nothing it keeps happening over and over again

If you have a problem getting disconnected, run your WoW client on patch 2.3.0, anything after that gets buggy and disconnects you when you look at other characters, try to loot and do any other things relative to items.

I've remembered having trouble with the Logonserver exiting right off the start as well. All I can remember about fixing this was deleting the repack and redownloading it as well as extracting the maps again. Basically just start everything over again and if you follow one of the guides perfectly you should have no trouble.

Awesome guide man 1 problem though when i log on i make my character & logon it loads perfect but 1 second after i get in i discinnect can someone help

I can loggin to the account and see my realm but when I log into the character I created do i get Disconnect 1 sec after I get in to the game.. :S

Great guide dude! But i got one Problem, At once im finished Downloading Mafiaboy's Repack, everything closes and i cant find the file anywhere! Does anyone have an answer fot this?

when im installing MySQL, and i select standard install instead of the custom install, when it gets to the screen where you set the server name it wont let me change it from MySQL... and access is denied ;_; daaaang

awesome guide! only one problem i found, some of the vendors when used automatically disconnect me i dont know why but i looked at the ascent.exe screen and it said


Sql query failed due to [Table 'ascent.banned_names' doesn't exist], [SELECT COUNT <*> FROM banned_names WHERE name = '(my player name)' ]


actually, its on most of the custom vendors
