Setting up ascent [Guide] [Video]!

doesnt work with patch 2.3

I go to 'characters' in the MSQL Database and edit my characters Level and everything... i save it... I go to my database name, I refresh the list, I go bakc to characters and it goes right back... The server is shut off and everything. Any help?

It is highly reccomended you DO NOT edit charcters via DB. If you want to change levels I suggest you use .modify level 70 or w/e.

This is a guide to set up a server, not working with 2.3 is a repack issue. There are fixes for it out there already, look around.

Heyy, i got a problem, when im logging in on my account in wow, it just says: "unable to validate game version. This may be cuased my file corruption ot the interference of another program."

What can i do? please help. nice guide btw

Oh, i fixed the problem my self.

but now i have a new one!

whenever i create a characther, and wanna go in on it, wow just shuts down, and i get "wow-error"? how can i fix that? (im using Chrispee's newest repack)

Chrispee's repack is for 2.2. Blizzard made some evil thing so the 2.3 patch messes up early repacks so you must use a 2.3 repack. I'm adding links to Dryice's repack in a bit.

Edit: MMm nvm, forgot I already put it up yesterday, use Dryice's.

Update: added guide for ad.exe for the repacks that don't have maps.

Confs, check all your passwords to see if there the same.

I checked them twice, they're all the same. But i'll look one more time

jup, mine too...
hmm, i checked the configs, nothing seems wrong to me (yes, i have a brain and understand what is writting in it)
i changed some stuff, and suddenly it didnt work at all
so changed everthing back
could it be the DB?

Sorry guys, my internet crapped out so I can only help you guys from school. If you guys have a problem like Cloze, double check your conf files as 75% of first timers mess up there.

On a side note I like this color...
