its not letting me save my hosts file! anyone know how to fix? otherwise everything is +rep!

Just save as .txt file
make sure windows is showing extensions
delete the host files (if remaining)
rename your hosts.txt and just remove the .txt
worked for me !

i always seem to end up in the same place. when i try to log in it comes up with Unable to connect to the realm list server. can someone please help me out.

the filename is just "hosts"
the type of file is still txt
so it doesnt work for me; either you do not use Windows XP or my computer hates me (which it does)

to be able to succesfully save your host file for VISTA, open notepad AS ADMINISTRATOR *(rightclick on notepad and run as administrator)* now click file>open and navigate to your host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) [make sure you can view all files] and open the hosts file, edit it and click save.

hey i keep getting stuck on the portfowarding part. I go to the portfowarding sextion in my router i make a service and stuff but it only lets me do 1 start port and 1 end port and i cant make another service. what do i do?

It would help if you made the guide for mangos/trinity aswell....

In mangos we do not have the realm.conf file to add a realm id 2...

We have to do it by databse /cry

K i have a problem with this in 1 way xD i use a USB modem how would u go about forewarding ports for that or would it only work with a router when im at home?
