Need help with your ascent repack ? post problem here !

I downloaded the ascent 2.4.2 repack, and copied a wow folder over with the patches up to 2.4.2838 something. This is a private server for myself on my computer only.

according to my control panel, Mysql, logonserver, ascent and apache are running, it says Your server is running! Leave the window open. My realmlist is set to what it is supposed to be. I log in with admin, get to the realm select screen and there is one server, the Ascent server with a medium pop. I click to use that server and it says connected then just stays on connected, it never actually lets me create a character or anything. Any ideas?

hmm well i dunno really about these problems around the realmlist :S its kinda weird thing actually are you sure you have put 127.0.0.1 or what it is everywhere ?? and why did u take a 2.4.2 if i can ask ?

yea under realmlist.wtf the server is 127.0.0.1 I chose 2.4.2 because i just downloaded the repack and then just followed the read me that came with it, not any of the stuff on the site to upgrade it further.

is i 3.0.9 server and it works i used it myself

deleted everything, started over with the youtube video. Did all that, transferred maps and everything fine, then when i log into the game it says that it's not a valid game version. File corruption or interferance from another game.

dont use your 2.4.2 version of wow. just patch it too 3.0.9 and then go to realmlist and remove the patchlist line or replace EU or US with XX. remember patches

Giving you a step by step of what I did, point out what i did wrong please.

Downloaded Ascent Pack and the other thing the guy said to DL in the youtube video, while doing this I copied my wow folder to the desktop to use for the server. I deleted the patches after 3.0.8 --> 3.0.9

After ascent downloaded, I installed it. Took the map folder and the ad.exe and moved them into my wow folder. Ran ad.exe and when that was finished i copied the maps folder and put it into the Ascent Arcemu folder.

I then opened up the configs folder/ logonserver in notepad and changed the thing to this.
<Client MinBuild = "9551"
MaxBuild = "9551">
I then saved it, went to realmlist.wtf and changed the logon to 127.0.0.1 and deleted the patch line. I also tried with the patch line there replacing us with XX.

I ran MYSQL, Apache, Logonserver and world, with those 4 windows open and ready to go I opened wow, logged in and it told me that i did not have a verified version of the game.

I have the same problem he did where I go to connect to the server and it just says on "connected" and I am using the 3.0.9 patch. My realmlist and every thing is correct I followed the guide exactly, but it still stays stuck on connected.

do this. go to your 3.0.9 wow and name wow.exe into wowe.exe and run it :P if there are more than 1 wow.exe they freak with each other

renamed it and got the same error. You think i could have messed something up in the config folder?

have you checked so the wow client you are running is patch 3.0.9?
if you use 3.0.9 client and still get error plz PM me the configs

sorry but i dont really know. have you checked so you have the right realmlist everywhere, wow foler/configs etc etc??? and other connection things is right. if not workking PM me configs
