hey there can someone help me out ? I got a bug on my ascent server ... Every time a rogue uses an ability it automatically casts [Kick] the silence spell ... so i don't know if there is a fix for it or if i do have to remove it from the db ... if you can answer me please do ... Thanks in advance

Well that bug i never heard about before O.o its probably something in your DB yes but about that i dunno what to do really :S maybe get a new spell table for rogues ?? dunno where tho

Not sure if this goes with the topic but when my friend trys to connect to the server he see's the realmlist but when presses enter says logging in server but then it goes back to viewing the server name.

make sure that when he edits his realmlist.wtf, to use your hamachi/external ip address. not 127.0.0.1

for him it should look something like...

set realmlist (something other than 127.0.0.1)5.723.149.12
set patchlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn ""
set portal us

and on the "set patchlist" part, take notice to change "version" to "logon"

he says you can do tihs to make a 2 realm server. I havnt tried this one but the others i did try others and what turned out to happen was that, yes i did have two workin realms but my chars would carry onto them also =( so if this does happen to work, plz let me know.

well dude i managed to do a 2 realm server , with the same account but different chars.thanks for the thread . it's so simple . all you gotta do is to make a copy of the emulator => delete logonserver.exe + delete logonserv.conf => create new databases World2 and Chars2 and make the required fixes in the copied emulator confs ( world.conf )

you made 2 more dbs am i right? named world2 and char2 in the same mysql server .. now all you gotta do is take the world.conf from the new arcemu and config it like this

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "root" Name = "world2" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "root" Name = "char2" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

Next thing to do is to config the Port in world.conf

<Listen Host = "0.0.0.0"
        WorldServerPort = "8130">

and change it in the realm.conf too

<Realm1 Name = "Name"
        Address = "Dyndns:8130"
        Icon = "RPPVP"
        Population = "2.0"
        TimeZone = "1">

        <Realm2 Name = "Name"
        Address = "internal ip if router:8130"
        Icon = "RPPVP"
        Population = "2.0"
        TimeZone = "1">

have you checked so logonserver configs says

<Client MinBuild = "9551"
        MaxBuild = "9551">

???
