Most people making Repacks are copies of other repacks and they add their own crap, Making them even more stupid then they once were. I've downloaded these repacks and found only a few problems with each not bad really. The problems I found were, Theo's wonderful no DBC. Also yes he needs to fix the "making a char and some reason crashing the server" I found that one too but ONLY ONCE!! After that I never saw it again. it's like I missed something at the last min... "weird" anyways Nice job guys on the Repacks and please try to make better ones in the future.

Yea, soon there will be better Repacks out there for Wotlk. I myself, liked showing people these but i hate them myself. to many Wotlk servers out.

i used navicat before and had the trial but now it keeps asking me to register but i dont got the key is there anything else i could use instead of navicat?

When i run arc-emu-world and logon, both say

Connection failed due to : unknown database 'character'
What do i do??

Edit your config files so they point to the correct database. make sure the passwords are correct too.

You could use MySQL or HediSQL, their both really good. Just search around and you should find it.

can some1 help me i tryed to add stuff from the NCDB wotk database and it gave an error and also when i tryed to add some Gm armor from another site

this is because, you did not make your navicat database's like the guide says. or didn't fix the names you made in the Configs.:wave:

I have a question! And i have little time right now so i havent read a lot!

But is there any way to create a tournament server and make preset chars and make accounts with passwords for different players! And when they chose ither race or class they get the done preset with gear,pots and so forth on that char with lvl 80 at an instant?

Cause im going to host a compo at a lan with 500+ people and there is a possebility for a 2on2 compo there with wow.

If anyone wuld help me i wuld be really glad. And i wondered how i EASY culd set up matches between the different 2on2 teams!

Okay, so I've been trying to set up a server to mess around with, first finding a repack from a youtube guide. It works, but is quite broken compared to the other private servers I've played on. So I decided to replace it, which led me here.

I end up with no problems in setting the server up, the sql queries are fine for forming the databases, the servers start up fine, but when I try and connect, I get issues.

I modified my realmlist.wtf I start to connect. Either it stops in the "Authenticating" process, or it gets to the realm with the window "Connected" which when closed takes me to the realm selection. Help is appreciated.

I was wondering, are all the repacks WotLK compatible? ( I guess they are, seeing the title~)

And when I have everything set up the way I want it, I want to run Logon and World to start the server..

But when I do so, I get a dutch error saying: "Cannot open file due to incorrect configuration of the file" or something similiar.

I dont think it's talking about the world and logon.conf, because if that was the case, I dont think the error would be dutch..

Do you know how to fix that?
