I still can't find the folder.

and nothing has showed up...

Oh, also, when I run the bin/mysql.exe, this error pops up:
"ERROR 1045 <28000>: Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' <using password: N

That error is because you are not using the password that you entered during the installation.

If I understand your question correctly, you execute the
arcemu_logon.sql in the Login Database
arcemu_world.sql in the World Database

Umm, Have you ever successfully logged in?

wait a little bit, press cancel and then try again. That's what I used to do, and It would sometimes take you to the Realmlist, so you can get past that part.

The furthest I've gotten so far is the character selection window, but I cant do anything becuase it stays at "Connecting"; Ive canceled and retried but I still get stuck at Connecting. Either that or Logging into Game server.

I am having trouble running the server. when i click on 'arcemu-logonserver.exe' or 'arcemu-world.exe' i get the following message:

C:\Wotlk Private Server\Wrath of the Lich King -Update 1\Server\arcemu-logonserver.exe (or arcemu-world.exe if i run that)

This appliaction has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

I would be greatful if anyone knows the solution to this problem. I don't think reinstalling it will make any difference so havn't tried that yet.

when i get to the step i need to set my security settings i set them but when i click next and click excute it fails to apply security settings. im using vista could that be the problem.

ok, I got this up and going! Only my 6th one Ive tried:yuck:. The only thing is, I would like to use this on my private network. Our whole family plays! The server is @ 192.168.1.104 and every machine that connects will be in the 192.168.1.X range. I can't seem to find anything on this anywhere. my msn messenger is abileneken at msn.com Any help would be appreciated!

Go into your Mysql folder, and Delete all the content, then try to re-install it.

I am setting up my server and My method does not seem to work anymore.. So If I find a solution, i'll tell ya. ^.^

Ok, I've got it. What you need to do is You need to change the
PATCH LIST to you server IP aswell inside of your Realmlist.
It worked for me ^.^

Delete everything in your C:\Program Files\MySQL, Then try to reinstall Mysql.
