The guides perfect if you follow it correctly, it worked and now i have a running server, the only thing that annoyed me was the fact that it was NOT WotLK. The items database only goes up to burning crusade 3.0.3 which disappointed me but.. even still great guide thanks for the help.

I've never worked with MySQL before. Right now I am just trying to get a server that is private and open to me alone before I open it to some friends. How do I make a connection with Navicat? When I attempt to login with the default details (the ones in you first screenshot) I get this error:

1045 - Access denied for user "root"@"localhost" (using password: NO)

Am I supposed to put my user name for my comptuer on there?

There can be 2 things:

1) Maybe you have written the wrong password, while you were doing the setup of your MySQL server.

2) You can go to your C:// or where ever you have putted the MySQL folder. Go to the folder, and delete everything inside. If it says that you cant delete it, because of the program already is running, hold ''CTRL'', ''ALT GR'' and ''DELETE'' down and go to ''progress'', and fine the MySQL program there. Then try to install it again, and make the setup from the beginning.

You need WotLK to make a deathknight and log in to the account there is already made.

If not you got WotLK, you can make a TBC account, with the flag set to ''8''

Omg help me ffs, stop ignoring. What shall I do when it says my account info is not valid?! I've made 100000000 accounts and it says: not valid when I log in to my server. Come on, help me and stop postin other shit things.

If i were you, i would check your patch, and make sure you got WotLK installed..
Or find a more noobish guide maybe.

Sorry, but all of you with does stupid questions, find another guide. Maybe its your computer there is something wrong with. As Treston323 said earlier, that you maybe should find another guide about setting up a server, because this guide were more for people, who have tryed making a couple of servers before.

And he doesn't say, that this repack is for WotLK, he just say that it is for 3.0.3

non-functional NPCs and ****ed up flags make this more useless than it is annoying as hell. trainers don't even have all the spells, I.E., pally trainers had one judgement spell and the horse summon.

When you are configurig mysql you have to put a username and password and when you open it with navicat you got to have the same username and password as you have with your mySQL then it will work!

I got one problem, when i go on realm list i hit the first realm and he throws me back again on realm list :/
