I downloaded this and got a trojan horse virus 0.o

this does not contain a virus, silent reaper.
and if you have lich installed you can set your account privileges to 4
and to get to northrend ill give you and example
go into your database of whatever you made your world and go to the recall table open it, go to the bottom of your window that opened and there should be a plus sign that says insert record, click it. now enter whatever you like for the first box, just something that nothing is used for like 999.
second box should be Valiancekeep, or something, this is just an example
for the third box you should put in 571, this is the MapID
on the fourth it should be 2314.69
fifth 5258.58
sixth 12
hit enter and then close that window, you should now be able to do .recall port Valiancekeep and port to valiance keep, this works with all other locations of northrend also.

what your problem is ,if it hasn't been addressed already..
is that you need to set up your config files with all the info to connect onto your database, which looks like mangos for you?

if that's not the problem it might be with a security issue with your MySQL so i'd say uninstall mySQL and go into your program files and delete your data file and then reinstall mySQL, only if the first solution didn't work

make sure you don't have the world and logon databases executed with the opposite sql files.
or your config files are correct

for your ascent-world.conf file
<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "root" Name = "ascent_char2" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "root" Name = "wotlk_char" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

the characterdatabase should be your logon name as where mine is wotlk_char

worldDatabase on that should be your world as on mine is ascent_char2

on the ascent-logonserver.conf file

<LogonDatabase Hostname = "localhost"
Username = "root"
Password = "root"
Name = "wotlk_char"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1">

the name should be your logon databases name
which here mine is wotlk_char
