Easiest way to make a private server. 2.4.3

I keep getting the message that my information is wrong. Every thing is running fine I might have it in the wrong folder, I run wow off my external hard drive.

Hey, great guide! I have a problem though. My mysql is apparently f***ed up and when i start mysql.bat it gets an error message like, "Do you have another mysqld server running on port 3306?". Is there any way around this error?

Now im getting an error that says,"Access denied for user 'root' @ ' localhost' <using password:YES>' Why is it always giving me that error whenever i try to run a private server?!
