[GUIDE] Ascent 2.4.3 using AC Web Repack!

Sorry for the double post but when i try to connect the realmserver for ac webpack it says that msql has denied access for moocow using password "yes" how do i change the realm to default?

even if it use a repack .. is there a way to add lets say ... flying mount anywhere or must i compile my own server to do this ?

repack works great... thanks AC repack... playing on it too... but can i ask if theres a way to change my lvl cap to 255 ? and as for the Core Folder to mod the xp rates...

would it be the ascent-world.cof in D:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Ascent

Or

the arcemu-world.cof in C:\Documents and Settings\R\Desktop\Ascent\configs

hey guys I have the 2.4.3 patch and am running the arcemu. when i go and select my toon and try to create a new toon it doesn't show up to select. I looked at the world server control panel and it just comes up with a bunch of random numbers and letters. I will try to put up what exactly it says later but any suggestions until then would be helpful thanx

Fwee u can actually go into ur Ascent Folder (in my case C:\Documents and Settings\R\Desktop\Ascent\configs) look into ur Realm.conf and edit it with a notepad.

look for <Realm1 Name = "R's A Crazy Arse!!"
Address = "5.6.253.223:8129" <----- See the 5.6.253.233 ? Thats My Hama Ip
Icon = "PVP"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

Keep the <:8129> behind... usually its 127.0.0.1:8129 ....

Well I did everythign you said, copieing the conf files and ect. Albeit you aren;t very clear on what to do, I am still getting the whole "Side by side configuration is incorrect". Please help me. Here is what I am doing, I am taking the old conf files from the Ascent folder that coems with the repack, into the arcemu folder, then moving the arcemu folder into my repack folder, what am I doing wrong?

I need help. I've followed all of the steps, but when I open up the "ascent-world.exe" file, it gives me an error:

So i've got it setup like the guide says. But i get into wow and login and it get stuck at authenticating or it its a blank box with the cancel button in it. Any ideas on whats wrong?

I get this error when I try to run arcemu-world program file. not the conf
Ahhh. doesnt work to upload a image. anyways it says like this :
Connection Failed due to : Can't connect to MySQL server on `Localhost´<100061>
Main Database initialization failed. Exiting.

I dont know if I have done this right but I deleted my previus ascent folder and made a new and extracted the files from arcemu there.
This is what folders/files I got in my Ascent folder:
config (folder empty)

configs (folder with arcemu-logonserver.conf, arcemu-optional.conf, arcemu-realms.conf, arcemu-voicechat.conf and arcemu-world.conf)

dbc (folder with lots of stuffs)

script_bin (folder with 9 files)

scripts (folder with lots of stuff)

sql_update (folder including character_updates, old_updates, world_updates and some other files.

That was the folders. now to the files :

Ive tried to use the Arcemu program files with the arcemu config files
and I have tried to use ascent program files with the ascent config files
and I have tried to combine them all.
Nothing seems to work on my vista.
Does AC web repack actually work on vista?

I forgot to say I get the same red text when I open arcemu-logonserver.exe as when I open arcemu-world.exe

I'm also getting the error regarding the side by side application not being found or what not. I am running 64 bit Vista and it seems in the event log that maybe the error is coming from 64 vista not being supported as a platform to run on. Feedback on this being correct or not would be helpful.

Hmm When I Extracted ArcEmu Contents Into My Folder Called "Ascent" I Made And Then When I Went To AC Web Ultimate Repack And Started Ascent-World I Got This Error : Connection Failed Due To:Access Denied For User Root @ 'localhost' using password <YES>
