thanks, i used the guide. Now my server shud be up, but i cant tell if other people can connect to it or not. (I can login and play btw). Not sure if others can. If anyone wants to check , realmlist= set realmlist ancient-wow.servegame.org btw, my website shud be up if my server is, since i opened port 80 and all. can some1 check my website plzz ancient-wow.servegame.org (no www.) also, i had another name before, it was "ancient-wow.servegame.com" (not org, like now). and that was on "no-ip.com", where u cant enable wildcard unless u pay. and my friends say they cudnt get on that website, said "Page not found". was that coz wild card wasnt enabled??. coz my new site, ancient-wow.servegame.org, has wildcard enabled, so can some1 plz check whether or not it works.: ancient-wow.servegame.org ,thanks!
1. Click Start 2. Click Run, type "cmd" (dont type the " "), press enter 3. Once in Command Prompt, type "ipconfig" (dont type the " ") 4. Many connections may come up with different details, look for the connection "Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection" , or something similar. 5.Under that heading look for IP Address (may say IPV4 Address), look to the right of that line and you will see a number. That number is your IP Address.
i had this problem, what i did was open notepad copy everything from the original Hosts.file and paste in the notepad doc, then changed what needed changing and saved as Hosts.file, This should save it as a file doc (Which it has to be)deleted the orgiginal file and drag and dropped my new one from saved location (Desktop Easiest). Worked like a charm!![]()
No wonder it wasnt working before, i was missing port 80 lol, Cheerz bud +Rep
Well i would give you rep but i cant :S, sorry
