I'm having a minor problem with this:

I assigned an dyndns server name, and changed my realm.conf file, and everything was going great.

My friends are now able to connect to the server to play; but I am no longer able to do so.

i dont know what to enter for "YOUR MySQL PASSWORD GOES HERE" and "YOUR LOGONSERVER DB GOES HERE"

do i make the passwords up? and how do i know LOGONSERVER DB is??

Bad guide. You messed up my configs and the realmlist just crashes.

Old Status: Logonserver would go on successfully. world would boot up, then shut down.

YOUR realmlist should be 127.0.0.1
