Side note, is there a guild vendor in this? i created a guild but couldnt see any of the guild stuff for sale, im assuming they arent in the game as its a single player project, so rewards gained from large groups ie guilds probably isnt the most logical thing to include..that sound about right?

I thought guild levels and vendors were added in Cata ?

Also I wouldn't have figured it out if you hadn't showed the image where Authserver added realm with 127.0.0.0.1:8085

lol yes, right again, its been some time since i played wow, think after they released MoP, i left as imo, it had taken a nose dive. No worries, think the bash to my head and body that gave me a broken collar bone and concusion is affecting me more than i think lol..

I think there were guild leveling mods for trinity core from years ago, I can look into adding a guild leveling mod if I can find one and manually add it to the core.

I used trial accounts from 2005-2009 until patch 3.3 came out.

I wanted to like wow but had issues with mana in vanilla/tbc and all the traveling around. Then I heard 3.3 was bringing dungeon finder so I did another trial and the mana issues were a lot less and I ended up getting into wow playing a lot,.

I preordered Cata but never got to play it on retail because as soon as I preordered Cataclysm my account was hacked every week for a month or two and I got tired of having to contact Blizzard and get things restored.

I had a keychain authenticator and still was getting my account stolen. I tried the sms authentication but it didn't help. So right before Cata launched I told Blizzard to just lock my account because I was tired of going through the process every week.


Seems like Cata and Mop were really good but after mop the game became about even more grind with less substance and enjoyment. There becomes a point when too much content feels overwhelming or depressing so I kind of understand why they Created Shadowlands and I've been tempted to play retail again for the first time in an eternity.

I did play the Shadowlands trial and it seemed ok but wasn't sure it would be worth buying the game again and paying a subscription again after all that time and money I put into my old account just to have it all stolen from me..

Wow, sorry to hear you had so many hacks and even with the authenticator ! Cant say i had any in the seven - eight years playing it. Know what you mean about getting about in the early days, wasnt the easiest, but i enjoyed it and you know what got me to look at the repacks? I accidentally stumbled over the music played in Goldshire on YouTube and that was enough to start me looking at other tunes like Storm Peaks, etc...that was enough...i had to play, but surprised Blizz still wanting that amount per month for a 20yr old game that they refuse to bring the engine into the 21st century - we have all seen what can be done these days as far as enviroments go...all that money they must of made and only put it into expansions...not the core, sure they attempted to update the graphics, but still.... they should of ploud some of those millions into writing WoW v2.0 - after the sucess of WoW, it would of been a guaranteed money maker...but no...seems they dont have that vision, which is such a shame. So nice to take a trip down memory lane - currently in Darkshire...oh boy...the feels

I don't really like NPC's I prefer commands.

skuly thank you for your work and keeping this pack alive. i been trying to apply your updates but every time i tried got and error and worldserver close.
i copy everything to server folder then run mysgl then used Dbeaver to apply patch and still getting world server crash

My updates come with Update_DB file you run it and it starts mysql and updates the databases.

And my repack updates are standalone updates so you don't need the previous ones.

Also when you run Update_DB if there is a problem it might output errors to Updater_errors.log.

Also when I have problems with worldserver crashing I like to open a command prompt and type worldserver then the errors stay in the cmd window instead of closing.

But there is also the Server.log file in the logs folder you might see why the world server is crashing there too

Which update 4,5,6 or 7? I just released update 7.

I didn't add the message "If there are no errors shown then update completed successfully." until update4

lol and I see I'm missing the p in completed, I never noticed that.
