Hi. Can the creature files be used with the v9 version. A friend has made me a respawn for 10 hours and without it is not fun for me

Ok. The thing is that unfortunately the respawn setting does not work in the mangos.cfg file. I had to ask a friend to help me rewrite it in files ... probably creature .myd or similar.

how can i update v9 to v10 without loosing my characters and changes i've made?
and also how i can import a sql file with HEIDISQL?

Right but then I would have to reboot the server, right ? Is there any way to do it without rebooting server? Thank you by the way, this repack is amazing and was super easy to get going!

you have to log out to see how much items you gave to the server.....for example i gave 200 runecloths bandages......but no changes.....than i logged out and logged in .....now the counter ?hm the quest npc told me 200 runecloths were given....



these are a lot of items to collect.....ok i can use the .add command but it will take me a while before i collected all the items need for horde and alliance after i tested this i will report again!

hahahahaha i am not good at math.....^^........to collect all the items it would take me forever....sorry i was to happy to see this......thank you again for your great work.......i need about 12h to collect 400000 runecloths even with the .add command^^ so i am sorry i am done of testing this alone^^

Sorry it is me again.
I tested the AQ Questline for the Dong. Everything seems to work fine but than i found out a problem. You have to travel to Azshara and there you must talk to the spirit of azuregos to get the questline for the scepter shared.
But there is no spirit of azuregos. Azuregos himfels is there but if you talk to hime (its the wrong npc) you can only kill him. So i killed him because i thought mmh yeah thespirit of the dragon will maybe there after i killed the dragon but no! so i used .gm on command and found the npc spirit of azuregos in azshara. As a gm it is visible but i can't talk to him.....so i looked up the id for spirit of azuregos and 15481 and used the .npc add command. ok i used it in tanaris hehe^^ but with this npc it was possible to talk and to start the questline for the scepter shared. Am I doing something wrong? I don't think so i played this questline in the other repack versions very often. I hope i could help.
Aaah one last point. It is the same problem with and without using the aq gates batch files.

@vu159 You need to be dead to speak to the Spirit of Azuregos.

@Protostrator You should look at the git history to see all the changes. To update the old repack, you need to replace your old mangosd.exe with the new one, and also replace the world database (called `mangos`) with the v10 version.

Is there any way you could describe this for an idiot (veyr unexperienced user with databases etc). I have my old v8 running perfectly but wanna update that one to v10. Tried to copy the chars & accounts from v8 to v10 but only chars load, not the accounts and its information.

"replace the world database with the v10 version" - do i copypaste the folder 'mangos' or is there some sql file im supposed to load in while running the v8 mysql.bat & looking at it in heidi sql?

This is all probaly simple and im making it more difficult then its supposed to be, but very grateful for any help!
