hey! im having difficulty starting the server, when u run the logon server i get the error access denied for user root @ localhost, any idea how i can fix this?

pass : (no pass)

the database has no password.

where do i change the password? sorry im a bit noobish on making private servers

i guess what my question is is, why does it matter that the database has no password

that is the error im getting

and idk how im supposed to fix that

This is quite out of date now, I have a version with about 30+ hours worth of new content and lots of new custom dungeons/end game content etc, and countless bug fixes. This is for my public server though, and I won't release these updates unless my server flops.

haha i understand and i dont need new content its just for my own fun maby invite a few friends onto it but no plans on going live with it, i would just like to know how i can fix this issue =/

Make sure you use the SQL server I provided and do not change the configuration settings set in the configs. A mysqld.exe might already be running in processes, and if it is my one will fail to start (hence why you are getting access denied).

i followed your readme.txt to the T and i already checked processes nothing is running on it

this is probably the best repack I have ever used, seen or heard about!

Its a same you can't/won't finish this repack I love it so much.

All items are ? how do I fix this?

I'm closing this since it's still getting replies and it's heavily out of date.

There about ~20 hours worth of new content and countless (literally) bug fixes and stability fixes on a live server I created from this, which if it ever shuts down (as I doubt it will) I will release the source again for.
