mancent is not working for me, install core and updates 2.1 - 2.2 and still nothing, try to login and i get "login server down".
At core window it's not open logon manager and world manager when i click them, only database and task manager,
means core have problem or is that ok ?
Btw, i have a fresh windows 7 x86 installation and i've installed only ms visual c++ 2010 and .NET framework 4

Doesn't work for me either, says "Logon Server Down" when I try to log in and the Repack Beta Core w/e looks nothing like in the pictures on core. Any ideas / fixes?
Updating doesn't work for me either, I run the .exe and nothing happens, Repack Beta Core-thingy stil says 2.0

Im sorry its not working for some of you guys.
Its not perfect yet.

did you guys try to download the Microsoft C++ for the missing .dlls?
and the only reason i have the server installed in your world of warcraft folder is so the play button will start your wow.exe

and libmysql.dll
you should have this

the Core.exe has changed it now shows you a green check mark on the logon manager and if its green the authserver.exe should be running you should be able to see 3 wow icons in your task bar one is the Core.exe one is the worldserver.exe and one is the authserver.exe

And if you click the logon manager once it should show a red X and shut down the authserver.exe
And if you click it once it should turn it back on and show the green check again..

seems the authserver is the problems for most of you.

I hope you can get it working..

yes sorry clean your internet explore history.. you have to change a setting on your explore settings.

This is a 32 bit core.
And you should check your task manager to make sure mysql is not running on your pc.

The core starts mysql and the logon server and world server.
It should also be installed in the correct location

the default location it wants to install.
My virus protection is microsoft security essentials and it does not detect any thing.

how ever I installed norton virus protection to test and it says that the logon server has sonar and removes the logonserver I have no clue what that really means the core we are playing on is SKYFIRE MANGOS TRINITY I have all tree cores and I used code from all three to get this core so the crap worked


GM fly on works fine every thing I have tested works.

Please keep telling me the problems you have, and I will keep fixing them.
We should have a base location and stick with it to install.
this would be easier, but I know some of you have windows systems but your harddrive default location might not be C:/

Mine is C:/
Some of you might have D:/ or E:/ and so on.

Thank you for making this patch.. i would like to know what the patch is doing, i would rather right it in the server core and not the client.

Just incase you can not see updates on the core and you use this repack here is how you can see updates.

goto your internet explorer Internet Options



then go to Browsing history and click settings



and click Every time I visit the website

This will update your core.exe every time you start it.

i have added the missing .dlls you guys have told me about I also fixed the webserver and installed the correct mysql. You all have a website to register accounts if any one needs help you can contact me on msn [email protected]

Also i will only help the ones who have teamviewer installed so google it and download it if you want help.
NEW RELEASE ALPHA CORE

The installer will install the files into the directory folder.
To start your server a short cut icon will be placed on your desktop,
if not then you can locate the core.exe file here.

C:\World of Warcraft\Core\Core.exe

Once the core starts you will see it starting mysql and httpd
this is for your database and your website.

You have a new config.xml file where you can change the username to your users name to pull back your data from your command center desktop at wiistream.

The website is fully inter-graded into wiistream so every user that joins your server will think its your website because it is you have full access to add videos pictures music backgrounds feeds or information ect.

And all your users who register on your site can login to wiistream to make friends and share. the good news is you can add to your personal website so your users can do more from you. and you also have wiistream that you do not have to worry about developing and you do not have to worry about it not getting developed I work on it every day.


You can login with the users names
USERNAME:Administrator
PASSWORD:Administrator

USERNAME:gamemaster
PASSWORD:gamemaster

PASSWORDlayer

If you want to make your server public there is guides on this forum topic that will show you how to open ports and check your website if its online.
But if you want your users to login to your server you will need to upload your account table to your real websites database and set your authserver.conf logondatabseinfo to your websites mysql with users name and password.

I do not know if it is just my PC or what because I can create a account on my localhost and not be able to login to wow.

but I can login if i set my authserver.conf to connect to my websites mysql.
Its very strange and I do not understand it yet.

I can access the database and that..... So i dont know.

but the server v2.4 you made i only get that bad connection (running on windows 7) and i moved my wow to my c:/ anny suggestion what might be wrong?

check your task manager.. the reason why it says bad internet connection is becasue the httpd.exe file is not fully loaded.

the bad internet connection is just telling you your webhost is not working correctly..
I start up the core once and then i click the black shutdown button and start the core again and it works.

Knowen problems registration is not working for website.
Mysql is not allowing connections..

When users creates a account it double post data.
This is fixed repack update 2.5

Many commands are missing dew to the fact the core is getting debuged searching for crashs inside the game not commands.

When commands are fully rewrote they will be stable and tested..

Still new locations for the new races are not spawned and the new class do not have the spells entrys.

The core and repack is just a Base to host a website and mysql and you database editor.

If you browse the folder you will see the server is a trinity server skyfire mangos.
Thanx for testing and trying my repack hope it works for you.. I have put a lot of time and thought into it.
