Edit: Btw im on Win7 and .Net Framework 3,5 might now have been installed properly, how will this affect the server?

I'm on Windows 7 as well (which already has .NET Framework 3.5). You need to DELETE the current maps/dbc folders and place the ones I gave you (on the first page) into the correct folder.

Like the others before me, I am having the problem with 0004331.map. I redownloaded the maps and still have the problem.

To test, I downloaded the server, then I downloaded the Cumulative update and the maps_dbc update that I put on the first post. I did the updates as stated, copied over the maps/dbc folders and it started right up for me.

You are doing something wrong.

Started over fresh, followed all of the instructions. I have a new error now.

Exactly as I said, you didn't apply the SQL updates to your evox database which are located in the TRM_CU_378.zip file under the SQL folder.

Because of the fact that the people who run this forum won't allow me to link to another site, I'll paste the tutorial on how to install SQL updates.


IMPORTANT: Before doing these updates, make sure that you're running MySQL.bat from the Server folder.
How to apply SQL Updates to your database(s):

1. Go into the Server/Tools folder

2. Install the SQLyog 8.2.1 Community executable

3. Once started click on Continue

4. In the box that opens click New...



5. In the New Connection box under Name type evo-X click OK



6. Make sure that the MySQL host address is localhost, the username is root, the password is evox and the port is set to 3306.



7. Click Connect

8. When asked to save changes, click Yes



9. You should now see your databases on the left hand side



10. Click on the evox database.



11. Now click on File > Open File in Same Tab...



12. Navigate to where you extracted your Update folder, inside you'll find a SQL folder with updates numbered and an extension of what update pack you should apply it to.

IMPORTANT: Updates only need to be applied to your database ONCE! If you've already applied an update from the SQL folder then you only apply the ones whose version number is equal to or greater than the current pack you are using.

13. Open the first file in numbered order, it should appear in the Query Window



14. Now press the the Execute all Queries button (or press Shift+F9)



15. Repeat for all updates that have a version number greater than or equal to the current version you are using, inside the SQL folder are 4 folders listed with the database names, click on the database FIRST before executing those files inside.

When I release an update you'll just have to replace the core and do a little SQL files... now you know so it should be very easy next time.

How come as soon as i open evoXworld it closes straight away, i have everything else opened.
