You Need to inport the sql updates from the first page.

I seem to be stuck at handshaking, i have set the realmlist to 127.0.0.1 and used the sql's provided...can any1 help me plz...i just want this to work so i can get my server up...

Ardenstrom put it in pretty plain English but I will make it a little more
plain.


- Step 1: Download the repack from HERE

- Step 2: Now, download the core from HERE

- Step 3: You'll need these .SQL files
- NPC Trainer SQL
- Characters.SQL
- Realmd SQL
- Vehicle/DualSpec Fix by Salja
- DB_Version Needed for 3.3.0a
- AH Bot Fix needed for 3.3.0a


After you've downloaded everything you'll need to find the .rar file
called "Stealth Gaming 3.3.0". Extract everything and open the newly
extracted folder called Stealth Gaming 3.3.0

Take the core files you downloaded from 4shared, the .rar is called
Mangos 3.3.0a.rar. Extract those files into your
Stealth Gaming 3.3.0/MaNGOS/ folder. It will prompt you to replace
the existing files. Click yes to all. If you're not prompted to replace
any files then use common sense and search for the right folder. And
if you still can't find it then put a magnet up to your hard drive.

Next. You'll need to go to your Stealth Gaming / Server /
folder. Run MySQL.bat.

Open Navicat and select the mangos DB. Execute the following
MySQL files ( or batch files ):

- mangos.sql
- item_template.sql
- NPC Trainer.sql
- auctionhousebot.sql
- db_version.sql
- mangos_updates_dual_spec.sql
- v01_vehicle_data.sql
- v02_vehicle_seat_data.sql
- v03_creature_addon_tables.sql
- vvv_vehicle_test_data.sql

Switch to the realmd DB and Execute:
- realmd.sql

Go into the realmd DB and goto the table realmlist. Make sure
it's pointing to YOU ( localhost aka 127.0.0.1 )

Also. FYI. If you're going to import the 'mangos.sql' file, then be sure
to use Navicat. Using HeidiSQL will take 10x longer and might even
lock up your PC. It's such a large .sql file that it doesn't seem to handle
it very well.



- If you're getting DB errors, be sure to install ALL the updates or
redo it all again ( Yea, it happens ).

- If you're stuck at 'Connected', 'Logging in', or 'Hand Shaking'
Then change your realmlist in the realmd DB.

- If you're stuck at 'Getting character list' Then be sure to install
ALL of the updates. And once again do it all over if you have to.

- If the mangosd.exe ( server ) crashes all of a sudden then make
sure you installed ALL of the updates. Check the log and see what
it says. Using common sense you can figure out which SQL file
you're missing. IE: If the MySQL error says something about
the item table, then you forogt the item_template.sql etc. etc.

- If you're not sure about how to configure your mangos.conf
or realmd.conf then I'm not 100% sure why you're in this thread....
