The Steps provided by pryd are pretty easy to follow. Maybe the only thing I'd add is that you need to download a MySql server installer. You can search for that in google, just install it and follow the wizard to complete the service. Once the service is created in your computer you can follow the Pryd Steps using Navicat.
hey Pryd on the next repack can you setup custom vendors on gm island in a sql form for easy updates.
let me know if that is possible.
The plan is to have a mall setup in a special place.
I've created a tele npc for the job, and I have the place figured out.
What I need is 332 vendors, otherwise it will take me some time to implement.
If you prefer a mall in gmisland ( I think it's too small ) then feel free to change
the old vendors items and make one there.
Newest repack is being uploaded. Revision 13 UltraCore 7701.
Things are starting to look good on all databases.
We did gain some ICC loot, gameobjects, fixes, feel free to take a look.
Huge thanks goes out to Lorac for all his help.
Don't forget to update your character database, realmd + .conf files!
Files are provided in the Database PDS update folder.
Update * Revison 13a released. Both databases have been updated!
To check updates go to the developers site for more information.
+ some additional fixes by me for achievements, graveyards, etc.
Enjoy!!

Is it me or scripts for trinity are taking for ever. I mean ToC is kinda old, and I still haven't seen any working scripts for it. Hope soon we will be able to see them. Mean while Pryd and Lorac, thx so mucho for your work.
Downloading for some tests, gonna feedback you if I find something guys...
Pryd and Lorac, thanks for your efforts on this repack! You really do a good job! +REP BOTH.
*Questions*
- The damage done from mobs (even bosses aswell) are extremely low, what could be that? (Using the Blizz World Database)
- Some NPCs, like guards, dont walk. I would like to set they movement, so theres is a place where I could check that?
Im searching on Trinity Forum but didnt found nothing yet. (The commands to setup the movement ingame arent working)

Errrrrm Pryd
Why are you not using new core?!?
New core revision is 7718
I hope this is what your including
As for Trinity scripting
heh um um yeah they are focusing on things that may be more important "may"
Im doing what i can to get these scripts reworked so they actually do what they are supposed to :-/
unfortunantly its taking more time than I would like it too
Please know I am addressing these things it just takes alot to debug all the scripts
Plus Trin is doing script work
Example
ZulF was rescripted last week
So we do need to give those guys credit
but remember
With out a core
scripts are usless
With that said "Great Work Trinity Core Development Team"

I agree, they do an incredible job with their core. And you two also de a great job. Thx as always.
Hi agian just testing rev13. The world DB has a lot of errors. I am using CTDB FUN, tried loading with mysql cmd prompt and the errors there were '\'' or '\"'. Since so many errors apeared the loading didn't get finished, so I decided to batch it with navicat and 4501 errors appeared. Hope this helps you guys to correct this. Thx for the great repacks.
Thank you for the repack... I'm hoping to get this up & running to take advantage of a populated world database (as compared to the WhyDB one).
I am using SQLyog Enterprise to import the Ultracore_TBD_Bliz.sql & let the thing run for several hours... only had about 2 minutes left & received this error:
Not sure why that happened, so, I've resigned myself to another several hour wait & am currently trying to import UltraCore_CTDB_PVP.sql.Code:Query: CREATE DEFINER=`root`@`localhost` PROCEDURE `sp_CheckGobjEntry`(IN gameobject_entry MEDIUMINT(6)) BEGIN DECLARE Check_entry TINYINT Error occured at:2010-03-27 19:47:44 Line no.:1235906 Error Code: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3
Is there a way to do a differential restore? Rather than source the 200 MB file again, I am hoping that it's possible to restore only the portions of the sql file that are damaged or not present.
Peace!
Thanks for the reply lorac, got it up & running...
Now, I can login, create characters, get in & move around... BUT, they all start in Stratholme =/.
How do I change the starting area? Also, my Deathknights cannot do any quests, when I return to the starting area, the Lich King is already gone.
Thanks a ton =)... Peace!
is this core update rev 13b support the player bot system all not because
when i click on the npc it show nothing . its not a big problem but it handy
with leveling.
As mentioned before in previous numerous posts
Bots will not be back till the stibility is better
Patches are broken
bots are not updated to latest source
The sql format does not support the new creature template
There is no outlet for a clean patch
If you have a working patch I will gladly impliment bots again but all resources are curupt
Again No Core Will Support Bots till it is listed in features on the updates
I havent forgotten you up there........Thats a complicated question to answer lol
Ok take the playercreateinfo from Blizz and add it
and you will be back to normal
BACK UR DB UP FIRST!!!!
If for some reason it doesnt batch right ....Its F@@ked
