    I would guess that your databases are goofy.

    I would erase them, re-create them, and re-restore them from the SQL files.

    If re-doing the databases doesn't work, let me know.

    By the way, I reworked the walkthrough on the firstpage (as Pryd mentioned in his last post).

    Maybe you could take a look and see where things went wrong?

    I did read and re-restore the files, we still get the same error

    Did you use the brand new version that came out (3b) or the older version (2a)?

    I would recommend installing with the older version, since Pryd mentioned that the .zip might be missing a few files (you could always grab the source and compile, if you know how to do that), and then upgrading only after you're sure that the server is functioning properly.

    Regardless, I uploaded my pool_quest as an sql file (in .rar format). Un-rar the file, and execute the SQL on your trinity database.

    Let me know if you have any problems.

    glad to see the bots back but when i type .bot add name char it say the command not working are there new command or are they the same or are the bot need too be turn on in config thx you

    I haven't been able to get to the computer with my server yet, but if I recall correctly... the bot dealers (the NPC that spawns the bots for you) were located in major cities (i.e. Orgrimmar).

    Then again, I could be misremembering.

    Nvm, we just gave up on it, every time an error goes down another one opens. Sorry, but thanks for your help. +2 rep (Over time cause I need to spread a lot.)

    currently you must be gamemaster to use .bot command (you can change it from chat.cpp (ctrl+f bot to find the line))

    that database which is in our svn (https://prydevserver.svn.sourceforge.../prydevserver/) is for the newest source, so compile the source, import world db (it has been updated so dont use the updates in "updates" folder) and start playing, that db misses only rs loots (at least i dont know anything else it is missing)

    Hey guys. I'm really excited about the bots, however I don't seem to be able to access them using the .bot command in game as gm. If anyone can confirm on getting it working let me know.

    If the v3b zip is missing some files than I know where the problem is, if not I'll post a quick summary of what I encountered and keep in mind I'm still a huge newb so try not to mutilate me too bad (been messing w hosting private servers for about a week);

    First of all I'm using the new v3b world and character databases, the auth database in the v3b zip is from v2d (kinda confusing because in the server.log it shows up as "PDS-4TC x64 Core V2d 10346" when the worldserver starts, I'm hoping this is intended because its just a small update).

    makevmaps_SIMPLE.bat in v3b encounters a problem and closes once it tries to build vmaps from building folder, so I'm using the old vmaps version from v2d.

    After creating a new account executing "account set gmlevel youraccountname 4 realmid" (I remember having to set it to 3 in the guide earlier though I could be wrong), gives me "you have low security level for this" however I'm able to manually change it to 4 by going directly to the table. Btw according to my world database under command #level may range from 0 to 3.

    All in all I created a new v3b server and I'm able to run it with out any problems however I don't see the difference in the server log files and in game as the .bot command doesn't work (duh probably because it doesn't exist in command table). Are there any files I need to merge/update to get the bots working, if so could anyone here point me in the right direction? Thanks.

    Edit: I'm running winxp on 32-bit and used the x32 folder files, yet the log file says 64-bit in case it matters. Btw thanks for the heads up Adria61.

    From what i can see, the 32bit core rev 10338 (10346) dosn't seem to have the bots included, Maybe wrong one got zipped up.
    The 64 core rev 10568 (10346) does.
    The problem is, they arn't working correctly atm. they wont assist in combat, and the NPC / npcbots currently are not in there. so no minions.
    Looking on the forums @ trinitycore there may be a fix. but wont know until somebody recompiles it to test.

    Pryd can only work on x64 core, so he might have forgot to update/check the x32 version... pryd,u bad boy!

    GM level four is 'admin.' It gives you the same powers as level three, to my knowledge. It's just there to show others that you're the primary GM/server host.

    What I had meant to say earlier is that you should set your GM level to three through the console command, and then change it to four in the table via SQLyog. Sorry!

    Make sure you extract VMAPS from the correct folder (it's not the same one as the maps and dbc files).

    Then again, Pryd might have goofed up the release.

    It's true my main server only compiles x64 atm.. and I have another server that I use to compile the 32s
    It does appear that I accidentally released the older 32 bit core, this has been corrected in PDS=4TC V3C.

    I'm releasing PDS-4TC version 3C ( updated the x32 core, and the x64 got a special update for a new custom item called item reguester Thanks to Naygath. For now I have put the item requester on the portal master so Admin do be sure
    to check out the extra feature on that.


    The Item Requester can be put on Any NPC / Vendor that does not have a scriptname.
    It allows a person to "request" an item, and if the item isn't too high level, this item will
    be sent to the person by email.



    As always, get the latest core by compiling our source.

    Great job on the core. One of the best so far. I updated my core today and noticed that the Auction House is only generating Glyphs. Other then that everything else is working fine. Also can to you tell me some of the vendors that are selling the added items to the game is located at?
