i keep getting same error as robotbear, and get error Error - Can\'t open the database ! (\'udbtrin\') when i try to login on the 127.0.0.1 site. or that just cause my trincore isn't open? ( sorry im a nub at this stuff :/)

Ok im reallly new to this repack and need help on the MySQL...

Wich files do i actuall ectract into Navicat...

You only need to execute the 2 sql files that are downloaded seperate of the repack, the download link is in the mainpost. be sure to execute them in the char db!


And as for robot, that acces violation error isnt about your vmaps, you even disabled the use of vmaps so. its something with trinitycore.exe itself. but i cant help you with that you will need assistance from the OP.

This repack works great, but I have a few questions:

1) Where do I find the commands? To add items to my INV, tele, and so on.

2) Assuming that my access level is 0 (gm level) and that I cannot enter the commands, how do I change my access level? I cannot find it in the database (I'm using SQLyog btw.)

1) hit .commands ingame for a list of all commands
2) go into your trinnrealm database open the "accounts" table and at the field "gmlevel" modify the 0 to 5

just ingame hit .lookup item [itemnamehere]
and it will give u an itemID
then just .additem [itemID] [howmany]

example: .additem 36918 20 will give u 20 scarlet ruby's

I found a weird problem. I've installed everything (with the solutions provided by this thread), went in-game and everything works fine, which is great. But when I restart the server (closing and opening TrinityCore.exe and TrinityRealm.exe), and now this error pops up:

ERROR: Correct *.map files not found in path './maps' or *.vmap/*vmdir files in './vmaps'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the Trinityd.conf file.

Huuuh? So, I deleted the maps / dbs and re-extracted the ones from the WoW dir by using the ad.exe one provided by this thread. But the same error is showing up again @_@

EDIT- Fixed this problem, I re-downloaded the repack and replaced the new TrinityCore.conf with the old one and it worked. But what the hell? How did that happen? I remember when WoW was running, I editted the file and changed the value of Rate.XP.Kill to 30 and saved the file. Did that trigger the problem? Was I supposed to edit the conf when the server is not running?

hmm intresting, the error shows that your maps got screwed, but i suppose something got corrupted when you changed the conf file while the server whas running, its just a guess.. but try to be on the safe side next time and do it when your server is down

anyway i THINK you cant get into northrend whilest u have expansion set to 2.
do you get an error or what? maybe check your maps if its an error.

or do u just dont know how to get in northrend?:confused:
