i'm very new at this, if you havent noticed lol, and I have only been able to make a ArcEmu Private server htrough Johved's guide (here: YouTube - How to make a WoW WoTLK private server for 3.0.8 (easy)) and I would like to use the fun server core, but I'm unsure how...

Is there a way to change my server to have your fun server's stuff in it?

try to truncate your playercreateinfo_item in SQLyog just leave the the 6948 protoid it is your hearthstone. but all create account will show only their under wears
delete everything except the 6948 i hope this will help
but try to backup your data first.

hey keazain im still waiting for your solution ... found it yet ??? ( about the vendor thing i wanted to remove he x-pack and add EliteWoW to vendor subnames... could you finish it cuz im waitin for more than a week for it ... )

Nitroman it is very easy to do. You just need to open the world database with an editor like Navicat Lite. Then open the creature_names table and the vendors should be in the last page at the bottom. Then just change the names and subnames to whatever you want.

I was running 3.0.3 with an old rev. r1897 I think. I just tried to update to the latest r2075 and 3.0.8. But for some reason I get a crash dump of the world server at start up. I tried to see what was causing it to crash, but it closes out before I get a look at it. From what I can gather it is when it starts loading the objects DB, Is there something I am doing, or did wrong. I'm sorry about this, if it is a noob problem. But I will admit I am a noob at this. Somehow I got talked into running a server. But any info anyone has, would be greatly appreciated.

A little more info, I don't want to loose everything currently on my server. It took a while for the gm's to set it up, and they have some custom gear in there, and they don't want to have to go threw and put it all back in there.

could you please include a teleporter stone in your starter pack. Would make this the best build EVER.

I'm new to WoW but im having a blast with your build.

I've been on servers that had stones in your pack when you start that take you to a Shopping Mall where you can get everything.

Furthermore, your server instructions are out of date.
