To upgrade just run all the sql files in the sql folder and replace folders,files ect ?

I see that there are some scripts for utgarde, but, i went in and there is nothing at all spawned in there... i am using NCDB... anyone know whats up??

Lots of detailed info in the arcemu release, maybe it will stop alot of questions if people could just learn to read and research first.

I am really impressed, even the info on how to act, what to expect, ect if you are going to be a GM (thankless job hehe.).

I am having an issue though. I can login to the server, create my characters but when I want to actually play the game, I get an error.

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:00636134



Does anyone know what causes this?

Usually a client error of #132 is caused by an incorrect update packet sent by the server. This packet can be made incorrect by data in an item or object in the database, but if you are the only one getting this particular error, then it may be a database install that hit an error, and never fully installed.

If the error is occuring when you try to enter world with a newly created character, then it is usually something in the starting items for that character. You could consider the character race and class, and see what is in the player create tables for that particular class/race as far as items and armor is concerned. That may narrow it down for you.

As for Vista, I am running Vista on this laptop, and I run Spurious on it all the time, since I am in the process of development with it. I have not tried arcemu or mangos on Vista yet, so can be of no help there.
