Thank you so much for your guide. I am a complete nab. I have followed 2 other guides = FAIL. Thanks to your video and readme text ... I have a running 3.03.9183 server.

I think you made a smart decision to go with the core (rather than repacks) and your documentation is superior.

since I'm a nab, I have a couple of comments to nab-proof your instructions:

- in Mangos.cong: change 'mangos' to 'mangosd'
- In the step to enter dbs in SQLyog: you cant actually list the dbs at that step (because dbs are not createed yet) - just go back to SQLyog and wenter dbs after they are created
- I had alot of difficulty with mangos commands, readme text should be modified ...
- to create account: 'account create <account name> <password>'
- to set for bc ... oh crap ... didnt write down commands ... ill follow in another post ...

It´s the MANGOS database
I changed the database MANGOS by another DB from AC WEB and it works
There´s the problem:
The loot codes (a friend help me)

Has anyone figured out how to add the sockets back to the items or how to get the Deadly Gladiator's items etc to stop being a grey item with no stats?

to make a gobject permanent put a space and a 1 after the gobject id#

ex: .gobject add 20824 1

that is for an orc tower, you can actually add so neat stuff to a boring terrain

yes i have them fixed on my repack tell me what ones you need fixed in a pm and ill send you the sql files
inless this is ascent or something of there products which i dont use i support them just dont use

Hi. when i start SQLYog this error comes up: ErrorNo. 1045 Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) (I have executed the mangosd, realmd, scripdev2 etc.) wtf? help? plz

And when i start the logonserver (realmd) this error comes up:

I have been using this pack for some weeks now.

I know it should have given a lot of work, but I have to ask, what is the point of this?

I thought I could play WoW as a single-player game and try all things I missed on my subscription-WoW, but thats not possible....

Evry class is broken, one way or the other:

Warlocks buffs fade as soon as you are hit in combat;
Hunter pets are broken as is their feeding;
No totems for Shamans;
Paladins seals fade as soon as you are hit in combat;
Poisons and abilities (like kidney shot and stealth) are broken for rogues;
Death knight chain quests are broken (no Lich King after you come to the camp under Ebon Hold);

In additon, a lot of other things are broken
Fishing is broken (waht a shame, one of the things I wanted the most was to experince this prof to the fullest);
Most professions trainers only teach ranks, not recipes,
No stats in items;
Multi-phase fights (in instances) are broken;
Etc, etc.

Am I doing anything wrong or theres really no point in this? I am bit bored of morphing my character into Ragnaros and co.

Please, dont take this the wrong way, I apprecciate the work and effort, but what is the point really?

thats when you take all your knowledge about this still being worked on game and help the community out with that data

the point is so we don't have to pay for the crap like blizzard wants us 2. oor just the point to learn how they did it

i do this to learn it and to help people who enjoy learning them selfs.

Hey everyone im just noticing im a lazy leecher and dont want people thinking thats true.
Im very new to running a P.S. i was very impressed with this version at the begining but the more i read about it the less i wanna use it im very new to the sql world so im finding it touph to fix all the quest and spell and other problems. After saying that i must still admit i do like how much effert has been put into this and the others ive used i wanna just complain about how many bugs there are but i couldnt possibly do this on my own. well ide like to end by saying THANK YOU guys and dont give up those of us that dont have time or ability THANK YOU! perhaps somekinda how to for fixing the bugs or something would be a nice addition.
