[Release] Moffeman's WotLK Beta Repack 8788

So first of all, i would like to thank Moffeman for the repack,Crusher for the guide, and everyone else who added something positive and informative to the thread. It took a little tweaking but in the end i was able to get everything running and able to log in.

Now here is where i hope im not being too much of a noob or unthankful, but just a couple quick questions regarding the repack.

1) blood presence doesnt seem to leech life like it should, is that a setting or a imitation of the repack ?

2) my runes do not seem to be running on any kind of cooldown and i can spam abilities. Same question .. limitation or setting

Else thank you for all your time invested and generosity.

P.s. it took my system 25 min to compile the database

These are problems that probably will be fixed in next core that supports 8820.

Correct me if im wrong, but am i getting this error when running my mangosd.exe just because i dont have the 8820 repack? or am i mistaken and its somehting else?

I think I may die of old age before this is complete. I began executing the batch file into Navicat at around 5:00AM 8/25, and now at 11:43 8/25, I am still only about 40% complete (it's been executing for 68160 seconds). My comp shouldn't be the problem. I am using a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processer, with 2gigs of ram, and about 8gigs of HD space (I'll clear if I need more). The only thing I could see effecting the speed of this is the fact that I'm running Vista. Anybody else here having the same problem? Anybody have a way of speeding up this process? Thanks.

K had to clear groups to get mangos working but when i login and go to server list it just sits at "connected" sumone help?
EDIT: nvm fixed it u need to find the file called realmlist in ur database and change the IP , ports and name if u want
EDIT: lol still sits at "connected" on realm help plz
GOT IT WORKING WOOOT CHANGE IP to 127.0.0.1 and port to 8085

as Moffeman wrote in first post:

All tables and databases is now in main database,
that means the worlddatabase itself has characters and realmd in it,
so you must change your config files so they point at the main database instead of characters and realmd

i got a few things you could improve on in the next repack. Ncps wonder around instead of stand still. idk if its just me but it makes it realli boring. and more Deathknight things in ebon hold Great job with it BTW best WOTLK repack.

This problem with your DBCs, you gotta use DBCs from patch 8770.

Got it working too now...if you read through the various points made here there is no reason why you can't have this great release working too...but to summarize them (for clean install):
1. Make sure you edit the realmd.conf and mangos.conf correctly!
2. Delete the data from the Groups table.
3. Edit the realmlist table to your IP, change server name if you want.
4. once you have started Mangos you probably need to create a new account, set it to GM and enable for wotlk.

By the way, there are level 80 items in the database if you want to gear up your character.

LOL WTF! Same here! Been doing this since 11:00pm on the 25th and now its 10:45am were I live on the 26th and I got like 30%

If you use Navicat, don't.

Use sqlyog when executing large files, I had no problem there, but with Navicat it took ages.

sry for being a naab at this private servers and all, but what do u meen by that? r u saying i updated 1 time to much or???

How can i actually achieve this? or do i wait for the repack 8820?
