It will soon, our core dev is working on it so we can go to 8820, he is making it stable before giving it to me.

Hey moff can you help me I'm a total noob at this kind of stuff lol. Just curious because every time that I download from one of the links you have it brings up a page that says "could not find the C:\documents\etc etc etc\Moffeman's beta repakc version 8(numbers) anyway what's happening is it can't find a file and I'm not sure what to do. I'd love to try out the Wotlk and from what I've heard yours is the best =) any help would be appreciated thanks.

Oh and to add something to what I just said. Once it brings up that little page that says it couldn't find the file. Notepad comes up. Soooo do I need to download something else or am I just retarded (probably the more likely of the two)

Okay i forgot to point the directory, for branza and forthehorde13, the fix for "stuck on connected" was overwriting these files

C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\mangos\account.frm
C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\mangos\account.MYD
C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\mangos\account.MYI

But after i played for a while i couldn't join back, "connected" bug came back again, so i replaced

C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\mangos\realmlist.frm
C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\mangos\realmlist.MYD
C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\mangos\realmlist.MYI

Of course one could just edit the table "realmlist" to be "address" = 127.0.0.1 and "port" = 8085, (like another posted said before me)

I've added realmlist.sql account.sql to make to above fix easier, just execute these into your database

Adding to topic.. i had another bug that i fixed

Cannot delete any characters, says : You must have a lvl 55 Death knight before... etc" (it still says that but now i relog and characters are deleted)

Mangos.exe log error = Unknown column 'genitive' in 'field list' etc

basicaly there was missing stuff, so i just added the missing column but still it would prevent character deletion, i ended up using a characters.sql from another repack and creating a database "characters" for use with it (mangos.conf)

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;mangos"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;mangos"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;characters"

Cheer to Moffeman for this great repack! i don't mind if it has bugs it is expected, it's beta! and i'm trying to fix em so i am learning in the process :-)

Sorry long post but remember people, it's not always the DB fault if there are bugs, example trainers gives error for "missing spells" OF COURSE they are removed spells from WoTLK (eg. Paladin,Seal crusader). These seems ported stuff from Ascent, 2.4.X etc.

Ok moff here's EXACTLY what it says. Cannot find the C:\Documents and Settings\Josh\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\U3ECV5VF\Moffeman's WotLK Repack 8788[1].rar file

then it gives me the option to create a new one.

Oh, when you download it, Save it, do not just press open, you gotta save the .rar file to your harddrive.
