I tried it with 2 lvl 80's on Gamer-District - Got a friend to share a quest and did it all. Nothing happens when I accept the quest, not even the original quest is accepted. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong here.

i got a question: How about the offset things if i got a longer number of 5 or 6 numbers, for example the quest iam sharing has the HEX_ A29 and the other one has the HEX: 493F8

what to type in?

After trying this method i can confirm this:

your alt which shares the quest must have the quest you want to get (for example, changing a quest for the darkmoon deck) your alt needs to have the darkmoon quest also and since they're not sharable therefore kind of useless on the server i play.

Doesn't work for me on a Trinity 2.4.3 realm. It seems it needs you to be eligible for the quest, not that your main needs to have it. I think. Not to mention, what is the point in this if you can't automatically complete the quest exactly?
