Swap Your Weapon Out For .. ??

Okay hold the flames as to this is a work in progress.


Basically so far, I've been able to change my weapon from my current one to any other weapon I see fit. Yes, the stats change & yes it works.



Before releasing this though, there happens to be two problems I can't seem to work out.

1. The animation of the weapon doesn't change thus for being the visual of the weapon + battle animation.

2. Upon logout / login, your weapon switches back to your original one thus forcing you to do this everytime you wanna switch your weapon out.


#1 is NOT a problem honestly, who the hell cares if it looks like your running around with a normal sword but happen to be rocking king shit right?
#2 is the main focus here, any ideas on how to force the server to save the change?



And before you start flaming, yeah I didn't release the exact way to do it yet because I dont want it fixed prior to having it figured out exactly.
If need be I'll post a screen shot :yuck:

First attempt at any exploiting myself & low n behold I may have come across the golden bridge.

(Working on it now & prolly all day, will update - any ideas drop them, DONT close this I'll have it figured out shortly, hopefully.)




Edit: Yes it is on the most recent version also.


What I have figured out so far

* There are three seperate codes.
1. Item Image
2. Item Description
3. Item Reality (Stat + Proc + Etc)

Locating these & only these codes grant the item to actually work.

i like that your thinking, however your thoughts are misplaced, it is not possible for the simple reason, that the actual stats of a weapon are not stored on your computer, but on the computer the server is hosted on. in which case any attempted modification will be purely visual only.

^ Oh I'm going to get it, I promise. Playing off what you said I have learned how to change stats without changing the visual of the item.
