Like the other guy that said he has the same problem ... i helped him and as we found out its not my compile .... its your repack which is why repacks are bad they suck to update. i actually made his system non repack and also showed him how to compile .... and now it will work so we redid everything any i taught him compiling ....... so unfortinetly some of the ppl that have repacks cant use the compiles that anyone makes ... hence why repacks are garbage

yo billy bob ur ascent core doesnt work with the confs and dll's from a working ascent core check for urself
why don u post the whole compile then with the confs and dll's
and u should try compiling it with moon++ cuase its better then lua
atleas most of the inctances will working if it was compiled with moon++
I know how to compile Ascent but I don't know where to get the... scripts? or extra things that you compile it with. Would you mind linking me the extras you use for your compiles?

If u are refering to the scripts dll's u cant use dll's from differant rev. the script dll's need to be from the same rev !! Also for the one's that cant get his compiles to work try installing the same .NET FRAMEWORK version "3.0 or 3.5 "????that his compiler uses. VS 2005 = 3.0 , VS 2008 = 3.5

My Compiles Includes All These On Top Of A Fresh Up To Date Core: ( I Added And PAtch These Myself With Each Compile )
1) Transports Boats and Zepelins Are Fixed And Working (98% the core downloads out there dont have this)
2) GM and Admins Invisible Bug When Normal Players Try To Join You To Team Fixed ( They cant see to send team invite to invisible Gm/Admin so you can succesfully spy on them )
3) Item Code Id Limit Isnt 200k ... Its Now 99 Mill ( You now have 1 - 99mill Code Ids Avalible To Be Used)
4) Required Race For Quests Fixed ( Now It Checks If Your The Correct Horde / Alliance For That Quest )
5) Pets Now Defense Fixed ( Pets now defend you and attack back when your attacked )
I am able to compile Ascent and scripts and everything just fine, however I would like to implement these changes to my own svn checkedout and updated code every compile.
svn co {Ascentsvn} to Ascent folder

Open the VS2008.sln
Change what to fix transports?
Change what to set item ID limit to 99mil?
Change what to fix required race?
Change what to get Pet defensive mode working?
Compile
Run
I saved in a txt file what i have to change so i dont forget and i go into each .cpp and .h file and edit it manually each compiel so in case they changed something in a new svn i dont mess it up by coping a old 1 over a new 1 ... so i edit the needed lines each new compile ..... takes a lil more time like 15 min to do so but its safer and better.
