How to "Default" a server

So yea, I have created a privite server a while back, just recently patched it and I was wondering, is there anyway to make it that I can set things back to thier defaults? Like undo changes I made to it? using a ascent server btw..

I run Mangos, but I'm pretty sure all you'd need to do is back up your account/characters DB and execute the core repack, once you've done that, reload your account/characters DB

Due the fact ManGOS is based on an old leak of Ascent, this'll work for both:

• Download a "Blizzlike" database. If you're using Ascent I'd strongly advise NCDB.
• If you have your world and character tables in one database; ackup your character tables, and empty the database.
• Import NCDB. And if you didn't have your databases seperate, import your Character tables.

NOTE: I'd strongly suggest to use seperate databases for your Logon (logon + character) and Ascent (world) servers. This is becouse you can easely back up accounts, ... witouth accedentaly messing up anything world related (and vica versa).

It was based off of a wowd leak, which was later turned into antrix like 1 1/2 or 2 years after they stopped, then ascent.

As for defaulting a server, I'd suggest installing a new database like NCDB for Ascent and UDB for MaNGOS

by any chance do you guys know how to back up the character stuff?

NCDB have a character back up tool in tool.bat, use the key b to backup
