Umm, i have a little problem, with the vendors. ive executed the batch file into the ascent database, but the vendors still dont appear in the malls, any soloution for this? :S, any help would be greatly appreciated.

i just switched to v4 and i still get the stall at handshaking when i log in.. the server comes up and say's nothing about problems.. ?? what dose this have to do with and how do i fix it?

mmm you mean they are not spawned??? that never happened before try reinstalling it

either your router config or firewall are preventing the connection OR you config files are not configured correctly

yea im thinking it has to do with the new route i took on going public.. i did the c:/windows/system32/drivers/ect/host editing route.. ill try another and tell ya if it works..

I do all of the normal stuff and all it says is handshaking or authenticating. Okay i see what you said but how do i change ports?

i tried something else and it totally didn't register.. so i went back to the winsys32 stuff and same thing.. i have all my ports open i even tried putting it in a dmz and i don't have any fire wall on it .. and just like the last guy i still get handshaking

I toyed around with the repack, showed some screenshots to my friends and they all can't wait for me to get everything up and running publically so they can play on your repack, but I do have two questions.

First of all, it seems that for some reason the horde and alliance portals that go their respective malls do not send them there, the horde one sends people azshara and I cannot recall where the alliance portal takes you but it's not the mall either. I haven't a clue on how to check or reconfigure the portals or what commands to use *it's been months since I worked on a repack* to fix these two. They were working fine in V3. So is there anything I can do to fix these portals?

And speaking of portals, there's two portals in the sparta city that don't seem to do anything or go anywhere? Are those supposed to work or are they just a pre-release for the next version? I also have no idea where to find this goldensun city that the video talks about, though again I dunno if V4 supports that fully yet.

I do have one more question, with your repack and quests you've added, what level cap do you generally set the game to? I noticed there's weapons/armor/etc that have a level 90 cap, but no custom mobs to support leveling that high.

3. Yea, i figured the best level cap was 90, but I didn't know there were mobs higher than 72 *I think that's what level the golems were on the lvling road, can't remember*

you set up say's to edit host with this line

put the only way i can get ascent to launch and not fail is to change

127.0.0.1 localhost

to

127.0.0.1 no-ip dns

you need .net framework 3.5 and thats done

morpher is PORTABLE so its an item mate lol and bounty hunter you need to spawn it and also configure your webpage to use it properly
