Please help, ascent problem

Hello everyone! i've got a little problem with ascent, i've set up the server, with the norwergian DB and all that, and i'm running it over Hamachi at this time. Problem is, when my mate on the same connection as me tried to connect, and he presses teh realm, it says ''connecting'' and then throws him back to the realmlist?

is he connected to your hamachi network?

there can be a lot of possible errors regarding this i list most common ones:
1.- you didnt set up realmlist correctly with your hamachi ip
2.- you didnt open hamachi
3.- you didnt forwarded ports

the most common one are 1 and 3

Thanks for the fast reply, Ehm i've set the Realmlist IP to the Hamachi ip, the one on the top of the Hamachi window? A guide said that was what i needed, though i haven't open'd any ports yet? Is it possible for you guys to list the required ports?, and it needs to be forwardet to the hosts IP right?.

you dont forward ports with hamachi

if you are behind a firewall/router besides hamachi still emulates a LAN you need to in some routers...
