Vista Connection Problems

I recently upgraded my computer from XP to Vista Home Premium. When i open WOW i connect through Blizzards servers. Even tho my realmlist it set to my server. It still connects to Blizzards server even if i delete the realmlist and no there aren't any other realmlists in the WOW folder. I also deleted my cache folder. I have reinstalled WOW over 3 times.

Oh ya i could connect to my server before the upgrade and my friend has Vista and he can connect to my server.

It happened to me mate, Vista is so protective, do this:

Go to your " Control Panel ".
Go to " User Accounts ".
At the side there are some topics, select the one that says User Account Control and click on it.
Turn it off, then you will need to restart your computer!

When you turn it back on there should be no problems, edit it again and save it!

When I was going to play on a private server I had my friend send me his realmlist (Since I couldnt change mine and save it). After that it has been working fine
