[Project Big] Searching for servers to merge

well this is a simple topic... if there are admins with a blizzlike server who are thinking about stopping or wnt to merge with a other blizzlike server maybe i can help u
This "project" is to make a big server..instead of millions of small ones with small community...

So people with a ASCENT server who feel like stopping u can give a copy of your account and character database to me and i'll talk to aceindy for putting them into our database
Other people who just feel like merging can also contact me ofc
currently we have:
Anduril -> blizzlike realm
Gorgoroth -> Higher rate Blizzlike realm
Silverwing -> Event Realm

Well if there is a lot of atention for Funrealms then i'll talk to the admins about it but i cant guarantee anything!

Why our server?
well technically it is not my server i am only GM/dev on it... the real admins are Aceindy (WoWemu dev, Kobold dev, Ascent developer) and Gorm (same rofl) and 3th man that is important is Iceman..; one of the main developers on the server.. (i am sure some of u heard of iceace or something)
They are part of the ascent team and they started with a small realm for developing but now they are public and well since it is a ascent server with some of the best ascent developers i think it might do them good to see it grow It has the best completed database so far and core is private revisions... if you need more info just PM me

What do you get?
I can talk to ace/gorm... you could get a developer spot or GM or event creator... (this has to be discussed)

Well i will not post the homepage of the server yet... (waiting for confirmation to allow it) PM me if you wnt it now...

note: do not start flaming on this thread! Half of the noobs arround here probably dont even know the ascent developers rofl so no stupid replies also! This is not a cry for population, ask aceindy himself if you dont believe... he only wnts to develop a server nothing less, nothing more

well its more for the servers who are stopping then for servers who wnt to merge... but well merging is also possible

well it is not becuz we need much developers or something but well its mainly for people who wnt to stop with their public server... (players dont like losing all their stuff) so we give those players a second chance

aceindy was a leet in fixing stuff for wowemu... he created the dam hackpathes rofl... on kobold iceman and aceindy worked together on database and scripts they were leet also ! (project iceace or the legacy development team? aceindy, iceman )
On ascent he made some major things lol.. weather system for example.. his work (weather: Emupedia)
on ascentemu.com just click his name and check the topics he made... hell lot of patch submissions (blizzlike fixes) rofl ^^

srr but if you say you dont know aceindy or iceman from ascent then i feel you should know :P To work together with them feels like working together with half-gods or something O.o

Posting patches does not make you a developer, having SVN access and posting code does, also for Kobold he was a DB Developer not a Core Developer there is a very large difference. I am not doubting Aceindy's skills, for i know they exist but you give them credits they don't have.

Btw i've been in the WoW Emulation Community longer than you have, and ive been more involved than you most likely, i know lots of people and have direct access to alot of information about the WoW Emulation community.

Posting patches does not make you a developer, having SVN access and posting code does, also for Kobold he was a DB Developer not a Core Developer there is a very large difference. I am not doubting Aceindy's skills, for i know they exist but you give them credits they don't have.

Btw i've been in the WoW Emulation Community longer than you have, and ive been more involved than you most likely, i know lots of people and have direct access to alot of information about the WoW Emulation community.

aceindy has acces to the svn rofl and patches are core fixes double rofl on kobold he made some core things too but not much but on ascent the other hand he is core developer... check his profile on ascentemu.com:

he is not part of the official team no... but he made hell lot of core fixes for the team... he dont wanna join becuz it would be too much work... he just develops on his server and shares the stuff with the ascent team ...

check the posts he made... how much patches (core fixes) he made and how much got accepted and put in one of the official cores.. A LOT
so he is developing but not as part of the team however the team uses his fixes ^^ and he has full svn acces i think

I think you will understand why he dont wanna be in the dev team anymore right?
