hello i need help im running mangos and whenever i spawn an NPC he disspaear a little bit later same thing if i spawn a Game object or change some ones Display ID anyone know why or is thre a way to fix?

if u dont see any npc its cause that your ascent rev doesnt support your db or vice versa if i where u i just download a repack all ready like mine or others those will sure work

The issue regarding burning crusade probably has to do with either that you have not installed TBC, or that your pack doesn't support TBC (TBC=The Burning Crusade.) there are lots of good guides that explains this. First of all, let me recommend that if you decide to set up a new one, then use Antrix. ...
That guide is a good one, just make sure you do it EXACTLY RIGHT.

Edit: Got TBC working, just needed a "flag" set to 8 in the char Database.. O_o
Setting up emuservers shouldnt be a problem since i managed this one straight off the bat but still the question is which is better ?
Whats the differences between antrix and ascent ? And which repack is "best" ?
JulianX's came highly recommended but chrispee's seems good too, does that support TBC ?

If im getting this correctly its the repack that mainly effects the features and quests ect. that you can do not the emu ?

2 your second question. You arent rly missing that much. You miss a great comunity and a lot of fun group play. you miss the chanse to get some new friends and to experience all the awsome dungeons the way that they are supposed to be (With a full group of people playing.) You will also miss some game mechanics that the maker of the private servers havent made to remake. Beond that, there isnt much you miss.

So i can do most of the quests gather most of the items and fly on a mount ect. ?
Although I gotta say I wont miss the ppl who keep turning me into a boar, hackers, spammers, idiots.. well u get the picture =)

3: You are going to use the latest patch for the link to the server i gave you! It works best and you can add loads of cool stuff.

Umm.. sooo antrix supports the new 2.2.0 patch too ?
Does ascent ? I wish there was a way to tell definately instead of all this guesswork :confused:

1: The repack you are using is an antrix repack, but well. I like the one I linked you better. Your choise doesnt really matter! EDIT: Well It is a server that looks like Antrix in almost all ways

2: You can kinda say that the repack decides what you can do and not do. In the repack you get there is usually an SQL file (or more). These files are as you know the ones you are putting into the database. And when they are written into the database, they decide what you can do on your server

3: Yes absolutely! You can do all those things you said there with the repcak you arte using. And ye its good to get some silence from time to time :P but it really is a great comunity.

4: Yes your repack supports 2.2.0, but you will probably miss some of the changes (Like changes to spells etc, as they are stored in the database) But I recommend using patch 2.2.0

I have two simple questions: One. How do I keep my server up? I can only keep it up for 30 days for the trial for Sqlyog/navicat. Do I have to buy the full version? Or is there a program that's free. And 2. How do I make my server a funserver? I could never figure it out. T-T

Ok, i am a GM on zangarWoW server but i am having trouble logging in, it is currently using hamachi but when i go to log in it just says connecting...then can not connect, i tryed downgrading (I just installed the latest version of wow 2.2.2.7184 or whatever) so i downgraded to just 2.2 but it still isnt working... any ideas on how to fix this?

ok so now i have been seraching for about 50 pages and decided to ask instead..

i got the famous problem of realm looping..

once i connect and is able to select my server, i do that and it gets stuck on logging in to game server,
after that it just sends me back to realmlist..

i have tried to restart wow and my computer several times but that how far as i can go.. any idea on how to fix this?

i've had this same problem. Make sure your realmlist and everything are okay.
try reloading your antrix or whatever if you have to.

I have my own server set up and running, but I can't access BG's. What do I need to do to be able to?? I'm running an Ascent Server. I've managed to get into's BG's on Mango's Server's before but not Ascent. Could it be I have to create an instance of it?? Thanks
